if this helps i can ALSO see S-video, optical, Cb/Pb, Y, Cr/Pr, Coaxial connections.
Well now im going to ask is this any good I download movies with Xvid in the title. once on the computer the properties recognise them as Avi file. would this be suitable as other machines state Avi , Xvid playback or both. im interested in this Aldi one for the price and 5.1 output too.
HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE AND YOUR COMMENTS AND ADVICE ARE WELCOME X;)

Sounds like the same model Lidl were selling these last November for £19.99 IIRC. By and large they were very well received and I would still consider them a bargain at £29.99.0

WHAT!! 13 hours?? I'd Invest in a new DVD burner and some decent software. My 800mb downloads, convert to DVD format and burn to disc in approx 2.5 hours. straight burn about 40 mins.
