Time for a regroup I think as there has been a few little niggly and upsetting incidents on here this week, and time for us to take stock and think positive.
So heres the place to sing about our achievements, and put things back into focus on why we are here and what we are achieving
just a few words needed to say what your proud of right now, and give inspiration to the many newbies that we have welcomed on board this week
I am inspirational because I have paid off more than 2k in 2.5 months. :j
I am going to be able to pay off my sofa before the 0% ends in October :T
Ok gang, your turn

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Oh I like this well done Jamie and Lynz
I am feeling inspiriational because we have paid off more than £8k since 1st Feb :j
I feel totally in control of my finances and our budgets:j
We as a family are in a 'happy comfortable place' money wise and the arguements over money have completely stopped:T
Well done to all DFW's on this forum, come on lets hear yours too!:beer:Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0 -
I am inspirational because I took 3 days off on site event work (stayed in the office) and in that time managed to
make a decision to sell my house to pay off my debts.
Found a house to rent.
Quidco-ed £156
Made £76 on a horse quidco site which has gone right into savings
Sorted loads of stuff out of the house and put 56 dvds on ebay plus tons of other stuff.
All of the above will be used to get my house ready to put on the market.
Back to work today though!
But, got a letter today saying my mortgage is going up yet again so my july mortgage is now £1106. It's going to be a rough couple of months, we have a huge VAT bill to deal with too.:A

I am inspirational because we are moving out of a bad area where no-one wants to live, have finished paying school fees so will be able to concentrate on debt, will be living within walking distance of work, town, train station and nearer to DS's friend so will be able to save money on petrol and hopefully, get a bit fitter, will be able to look out of window and see nice well kept houses instead of doberman tied to post of car port and market rubbish opposite. OH has suddenly become inspired to make more money at work. Also, only 5 weeks and 3 days till I get almost 6 weeks off from work. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

I'm inspriational as I've done soooooo much forward planning that I will be able to pay off my car insurance (1k), road tax (£190) and service (£260) without increasing my existing debt. I also (hopefully) will be able to afford a very cheap holiday for a 1 week in the sun if the plan really pulls off!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 092

Also when I think about it, I am sort of looking forward to the challenge of the new house. We've always bought dumps and transformed them. This is the 3rd one. So am inspired by OH's grand design for the place. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
