Whats the best deal Wanadoo/Orange has offered you to stay

With Wanadoo at the moment, and whilst distinctly unimpressed with this new 'Orange' relaunch, will continue to pay my £14.99 per month (only interested in basic 1mb broadband) for the next couple of months just to see what Sky or anyone else offers in response to the Talk Talk free broadband for life.

Just wondering if anyone has called Wanadoo (Orange) up in the last few weeks asking to leave, and have been offered a special deal to stay...

    I have a £17.99 pm 2Mb package with Wanadoo/Orange.
I spoke to them the other day and after some discussion took up the offer of two free months, whilst keeping the same package.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I agree that the so called Wanadoo to Orange re-launch was pathetic and I'm sure that this free internet has been available on the Orange website for months!

2 free months hey? That interesting - might give them a call to see what they will do. If I can get the same then 12 x 14.99 - 1 x 14.99 averages out at about £12.50 which isn't too bad, although I'm still going to be tempted to go to Talk Talk.....

i wouldn't go to either talktalk or tiscali, even if it were free - too many bad opinions from current customers.... slow speeds, poor CS - just to name 2!

I got a month free and an upgrade to their Max package which is unlimited downloads (I'm restricted to 512k anyway due to locale) and includes their VOIP talk programme (free calls to UK landlines) and their wireless router for £17.99 per month with no commitment to any longer contract. That package usually is £27.99 per month. Took a few calls though; first few said nothing doing so persevere.

The normal customer services department could do nothing; it was only when I said I wanted to leave and was transferred to the department which issued MAC codes (might have been the terminations department) that I got any sense from anybody. Best of luck.

Just rang up and got a month free of charge. Tried to get a couple but he wasn't shifting, and just talking about giving me the max package for £17.99 (normally £27.99) but I don't use the net to make any benefits of that. Ahh well free month next month and too be honest Wanadoo are pretty good in terms of customer service (by that I mean whenever I phone up your not waiting for ever) so will give them a few more months....Really not to interested in the Talk Talk thing (heard some back things about them + the 18month contract) so its Wanadoo for the forseeable future.
