MSE Parents Club Part 4

Options
This is a continuation of the Parents Club part 3 which can be found HERE. Part 3 was eventually closed due to the length of it :)

All parents are welcome, mums & dads with children of any age. We're also happy to help people who just have questions about kids, even if you don't have any yet.

This is a place of mutual support, so feel free to ask and answer whatever you want. Feel free also just to moan if that will help!

If you want to put details of your kids and their ages in your signature then this helps us keep track of all of the little ones, but this is not obligatory.

    Hooray, new thread!

ETA: goodnight all (very tired after my late night and need to go and drink at least another gallon of water to ease this dehydrated feeling!).

Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight have been... infact 2 of them and a Primark... although I only spent £20 in Primark.... sleepsuits for Alexandra (she's got tonnes of "clothes" for 0-3, but hardly any sleepsuits... well mummys card soon took care of that!)
I managed to spend a little on the baby in Next bit the pickings were VERY slim! LOADS for me tho! Got some bits that were down from £55 to £10! - it's a bed fancy thingy but looks really cool as a scarf!! :rotfl:
Got some trousers and tops - half will fit now and half should fit once I loose a little more porky fat... it's still steadily coming off and I think I might joint the gym this week so that if nothing else I can go to aqua aerobics next couple of thursdays evenings :) maybe sneak in a couple of swin sessions too...

So I'm 27 and got biten by a dog today, it's ok tho I was playing with the dog and trying to retrive my dogs ball from the offending dogs mouth. Fingers are fine just worried bout my tetanus. Might just fone doc tomoro to be on the safe side as I thought routine one was bout 17, so it might be out of date now. Thanx MrsT

Scruffy, my dad had a similar incident with our own dog (about 7 years ago) and he was advised to get another jab as he couldn't remember when his last one was :) Hope you're okay.

If you had your full course of 5 jabs for it then you shouldn't need it but definitely check with the nurse tomorrow - she will be able to advise you :)

Just popping in to wish you all well tomorrow... Hope you all have a lovely time:) I have got to go and have a battle with my council ( again!) I won't go into details....

Me and Dh have been having a few 'problems' today, stress is the cause, I think!

Kai actually slept well again last night after a stretch of being unsettled. Poor thing is so dribbly and chewy... I hate the teething stage! I am going to bed now, although he slept well he is still getting up very early.
I discovered two days ago that although he is waking early, he is actuaaly not bothered about food, he is perfectly happy to wait for breakfast until 7-7.30am. This is great as it makes it far, far easier to get him in a routine that works.

(typing on iPhone, so sorry if the message seems abrupt or dis-jointed:)
