I know it's not much help to you at the moment... But I've been where you are now, and you get through it... I keep joking with people because Caitlyn can do a 6hr stretch, Aimee was about 3 1/2 before she could do a 6hr stretch... But I survived! Co-sleeping helped a lot, as did learning to sleep through cbeebies at 6am just for an extra hour or so... And I just kept reminding myself that in the grand scheme of things, this was just 5 mind... I'd look back and it wouldn't seem that long at all, and now she's bigger and sleeps more (not as much as she should but I can live with it if she can) the worst days are just a blur and seem to of gone by in a flash!

You're doing a good job! And sleep is for the weak ;)

thanks krystal. These days are definately the hardest, but I know we'll get there - I'm just annoyed at myself that I'm not very good at dealing with them. DH is taking the brunt (although to be fair he has not helped himself and is also snappy cause of sleep deprivation!) and I'm terrified that it might become something we can't fix if madam doesn't start sleeping a bit better soon......:o

There are a couple of antivirus thingy's on, Ad-Aware, Avast and McAfee I think - OH takes care of that - he's a bit of a nerd! He's always scanning though - and nothing ever happens to him!

  • Lots of hugs, r.mac. Does your Mum or MIL live nearby? Maybe they could have LO for a few hours for you to have a rest?

My parents have mine two afternoons a week and sometimes I just go back to bed to relax for a few hours (as even though they both sleep through I still feel really tired some days :o).

 I go on holiday for a week and you all talk for 80 pages!
I think you should technically have a booster every 10 years but they don't bother unless you need one
They used to do tetanus boosters every ten years but aparently they found it was bad for you to have that many and that having the first five is enough so you only need an extra booster if you do something serious like stick a fork in your foot. (OH is a gardener so he kept requesting boosters until they explained why they wouldn't give him one.)

Just going back to names, sometimes we shorten Charlotte to Charlie but I prefer her full name.

When she's got a dirty nappy I call her Charlie Bum Stink. I'll have to stop doing that as she's introduced herself to people as Charlie Bum Stink recently :o
Alice has just renamed herself "Jessie" after Postman Pat's cat. When we call her other things she says, "No, Jessie."

I had that a few weeks ago - she wouldn't be quiet unless the inlaws were here:rotfl: However, now she's doing more physical development she's quietened down - obviously she hasn't learned to multitask just yet;):D
