I have a wide awake, hiccuping, rumbling (in the nappy dept) baby.. think I might see if OH wants to take over.. ;)

3, I think it's you, MFD, Sami, SB and Fritha.

I'd love to come but there'd be nowhere to plug in the pump ;)

Evening all - a nice new thread for me to come back to! :D

I've not been on since possibly Friday night so I have a lot of catching up to do.

First things first........Warrington. Apart from Ikea, I don't know it. Would anyone have a postcode for where we're meeting (Obviously i'm not expecting the field/park to have a postcode, but a near building or car park?).

Who's coming? I'm coming on my own (with DD's) so be nice!

We've been in and out all day running DD1 about. First I dropped her off at 9 for a Dancing show dress rehersal. Then I had to go back at 3 to fix her hair and make-up, for her to go off to do a Dancing competition. We went to watch the comp. at half six, and got home at just on 11! Poor DD must be absolutely shattered! (They won anyway! :D)

Does anyone elses bigger little ones do dancing or similar? I'm starting to find it all a bit pretentious and all the other mums a bit odd! (Or is it me!).

And some !!!!!! appears to have hijacked my yahoo account. I've had several messages from my contacts, asking me what my message was all about, they were unable to open it. However, i've not sent any messages (at 5.30am!) and my sent box is empty! OH is half asleep so he's not exactly helping - what should I do?

I'm coming, but will probably be late - Fritha told me where to park and it is close....will go and find you the link...

Happened to my hotmail account twice - I just changed my password :o

    Thank you! :D

I've changed my password - hoping thats the end of it.

I had my ebay hijacked a couple of weeks ago - linked maybe? (But I am really good with my passwords - honest!)

Did the pump not come with in in-car charger? :rotfl:

  • This post contains Frithas link and my simple instructions about getting from Golden Square to the park...

Basically if you exit the shopping centre near to Boots then you are very near, if not on Sankey Street - walk away from the shopping centre and the park should be on your right

My boys all used to. ;)

Actually I was happier to have boys doing ballet than I would have been to have girls doing it.

DS1 had a different teacher to the younger two, and she was great, very non-standard, just to have fun. He didn't keep it up for very long, he did drama for a bit too but couldn't cope with that, he didn't want to do what he was told, or what everyone else was doing. Which made performances 'interesting'.

Then DS2 and DS3 joined their best friends at 'traditional' ballet and then tap classes when they reached the right age. We had a bit of a false start with DS3 who was quite happy to be a bunny, as long as that meant bunny hopping round the room, which wasn't quite what teacher had in mind. So she suggested he come back when he was a little more mature. :o

DS2 kept it up the longest, he has Certificates to prove it but doesn't like to be reminded about it and didn't want to tell all his friends at the time. He really wasn't bad.

Before I am accused of child cruelty, the younger two boys also did football. DS1 didn't want to do that or he could have done.
Signature removed for peace of mind

3 I used to dance :D disco, ballroom and Latin ;) there were some very pushy mum's underhand practices and down right cheating. I assume these days it's even worse  I remember standing outside Blackpool tower ballroom at 7am surrounded by girls in curlers lol
my poor mum has slightly disfigured fingers from one out fit she sewed over 2500 sequins on!

    :rotfl:at your poor mum!

I actually got told off, publicly, in front of the other mums - for using fabric glue on the sequins last week! Bad mummy! The dancing principal Miss ***** was very serious about it! I thought the dance police were going to come and arrest me! I told her life's too short to be sewing on sequins! (Which she didn't find funny!) :rotfl:

Last nights Liverpool comp. wasn't too bad - but last years included a team of infants from a Liverpool school, spray tanned, orange faces, blue eyeshadow and red lipstick. Dancing to Yellow-polka-dot bikini, wearing yellow polka-dot bikinis and part of the dance was a bit of chest shaking! OH found it very disturbing!

3 - I used to be a ballet dancer and danced for 15 years in total but gave it up after I went to university.

I'm having the night/morning from hell :( LO slept for a grand total of 4 hours last night. slepe deprivation for 6 months is really taking it's toll on me now and I'm a grumpy boots today. I think it's a combination of her being a terrible sleeper and her teething pain (not her fault). I'm not feeling like a veyr nice person today....

.....repeats Savvy's mantra 'I'm doing a good job'.....

But won't be driving anywhere today as soooo tired I think I may crash. Going to take LO for a long walk to get some fresh air but first I'm going to try and convince her that after 2 1/2 hrs of terrorising me that it is nap time :D

This really made me laugh. Izzy tends to be Izzy Whizzy Custard. No idea where that came from .

I gave up ballet when I was old enough to do exams, as I thought doing exams was really scary! We have all this to look forward to ;) DH wants Izzy to do rugby, I keep telling him she can (within reason) do what SHE wants to do. Not sure we can stretch to horses, but I'm sure we can manage swimming or tap ;)
