    topping phase is needed before the rate heads toward its anticipated targets of
    1.5530 and 1.5265 says Commerzbank analyst Steven Merrigan. He looks for the
    current rally to be contained near the 1.6475 retracement/resistance level and
    then settle into a choppy 1.6475-1.58 range. GBP/USD now trades at 1.6465. (GST)

    [14:23 GBP/USD: Extends North pre-London Fix, 1.6600 Expiry Tomorrow] London,
    June 11.

    The USD is on the back-foot ahead of the 4pm BST London fix, with cable
    having just notched a new eight-day high of 1.6535. Touted bull targets beyond
    include 1.6600, 1.6664 (June 3, seven-month high), 1.6675 (Oct 30 top), 1.6720
    (Oct 22 peak), 1.7000, 1.7200 and 1.7500. A 1.6600 option strike rolls off at the
    10am Eastern NY cut tomorrow (Friday, 14:00GMT).

    The Quarterly BoE Bulletin will be published at 00:01BST, with BoE MPC member
    Paul Fisher is slated to speak at the Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Annual
    Conference in Coventry at 08:45GMT tomorrow (Friday). BoE Chief Economist Spencer
    Dale is a slated panel discussant at the Norges Bank Monetary Policy Conference
    in Oslo at 13:00GMT tomorrow.
