Hi all,

Think this is a bit of a bargain: Samsung Syncmaster 940MW monitor / TV

Just bought it in the PC World sale reduced from £399 to £299, but with the amount of features it has, well worth the money.

i got the 19" 4:3 a few months back when they were selling them for £250. If the picture quality is as good, i'd tear their arm off at this price for a 19" widescreen. mine works well as a PC monitor too.

Sounds good, I was lucky (at least I think I was) managed to get one of the Dell 19" LCD TV (HD rteady) and teletex for £240 all in, just before Christmas.

It was a Christmas Present and have to say I a well impressed with the quality of the picture (only connected it via a standard aireal).

Have to say checked loads of AV forums before the purchase and teh dell had all sorts of reviews. For me its GREAT especially for the price, I just wish I ordered the 23" at the same time as this 19" one is going in the study.

Just been playing about with it. No dvi cables supplied to link to PC, only VGA, but just linked it up to my xbox 360 in HD mode via the component connections and all i'll say is WOW. Gonna test a few PC games next

Is there something I'm missing about the spec that makes this a good deal?

Is it sold as HD ready?

Really need a new TV! Whats the sound like through its speakers, we've got year old flat monitor and its very tinny, are these tv ones much better?
What will i need to plug my laptop in and watch movies?

absoulutely no use as a PC monitor with 640x480 resolution
