My g/f has the 1.4 in the old model and its not powerful at all... I hate to think what the 1.25 would have been like....

Don't know if they changed the engines much when they brought the new model out though.

£10,342 is the best I can find for a Zetec.
They seem to have done away with the "Style" and brought out an "Edge" model.
Micky Mouse RRP`s, the manufaturer`s crying to the government they`re going bust and then rip off the public by increasing prices by a couple of grand.

The 1.25 feels similar in power to my current 1.4. And I am happy enough with the current 1.4 I have. It seems the updated 1.25 engine is well liked and reviewed.

I had an email yesterday at work, and we get very very good discounts at Fiat and Alfa group. I can get the Fiat sport with leather seat, cruise control, Bluetooth, Electric air con, and electric mirrors and all the rest for £10500, instead of £15000!

Problem is I dont really like the Fiat, and I want a diesel engine!

I think my ford guy is phoning me today so lets hear what he says!

Which Fiat is it? If its the Grande Punto then that is a pretty nice Car, I test drove one a year back and I was impressed.

On the paperwork it's £10133. Including Bluetooth and 12 months vel.

I also got the decent part ex price against it.

Hi all, well done for ordering superdon! You got a smashing deal!

Yeh the Fiat I was on about was a 5dr Grande Punto.

The guy from Bristol street just rang, the one who I dealt with last year. He said the used car guy made a mistake on my PX value, and has now offered me £5500 which sounds much better, but I am sure with a bit of haggling I may be able to get a bit more.

With regards to the price of the car.... I want a Fiesta Titanium 1.4 tdci, 5 door with metallic paint and Bluetooth thrown in.

He is going to work his magic and come back to me tomorrow morning. As it stands the figure I was quoted was £13995. This is way off my target price. I have also been told this morning that I will be eligble for a Police discount as it says on the Police fed website. So I will get a further discount on that price, and they say they will give me a loyalty discount. I am aiming for £12000.

Superdon, I told my guy about your deal and he reckons its less than what they pay for them at my dealership. I would love to show him proof of your deal because he doesnt believe me!

Lets see what tomorrow morning brings!
