yeah i did put the limit on i think that why i got this letter saying they recieved it and are dealing with it cos i got that around 2day before the 14days would have been up0

My account with lloyds tsb is now closed down. (I closed it) They have however taken thousands in charges over the years. It was only closed a few months back.
Is it still possible to reclaim the money?0 -

Amount reclaimed £2100
Amount they paid £1800
Bought my first house as a single parent ans struggled a little at first, bank charged me everytime I went overdrawn, sometime charged me 2 or 3 times. Thankyou moneysavingexpert for the advice on this site.0 -
Capital One - claimed 160 offered 72.00 thank you but no thank you letter going back to them today as I want it all back not 8.00 for every 20.00 they've charged - it's not alot of money but it's still my money ! will keep you posted
Should hear back from HSBC by end of the week as LBA went to them on 6th October now thats for 2,345 - we'll see0 -

claimed £1597.24 + £120 in court chargers
received £1727.47 today
sent first letter 25/08/2006 got back standard letter "sorry you are disapointed ect"
sent second letter 09/09/2006 got back a second letter exact copy of the first.
went on line to county court claims and put in a claim on 29/09/2006
got a letter from the court on 12/10/2006 saying they were defending the claim.
today we received a cheque for the whole amount0 -

Claimed £70.66 - just a few items relating to missed payments but it's a matter of principle!
Initially rejected, I followed up with a letter giving them 14 days to reflect before I started court proceedings.
Credited £70.66 today0 -

i understand - but as no one had responded to anyone's questions on the other thread I thought it might be easier to add one on here seen as other people had done and had received a response. Have been looking for help - please don't get funny with people looking for help especially when they are new to the whole chat forum thing let alone the reclaiming bank charges task, its daunting enough.0 -
