    Spare a thought for rick...

I nominate this post too, the season of goodwill is over, money saving is important but its only to better lives, what is better than the gift of blood - something most of us can do whatever our financial background so therefore it unites all us MSE as something we can all do or learn from.

I too nominate this thread, we all need to be reminded that money doesn't equal happiness.

DFW dictionary, helps all newbies, and even some of us older users who may have forgotten the lingo if we haven't used it for a while. Also the list of contacts is invaluble. IA deserves to win this month.

Not financially helpfull....But sometimes it is worth finding out money is not the most imortant thing

The Rick thread gets my vote too. If one more person is donating blood then it's gotta be worth it.

I'd like to vote for post 97, this is lou's blow by blow account of her day in court to declare bankruptcy, She bravely posted her whole day explaining the ins and outs 1st hand, This will be a huge help to desperate people looking for reassurance that they will survive there court appearance.

Spare a thought for Rick gets my vote.
It may not be money saving but it has got lots of people realising how lucky they are and it motivated me to give blood for the first time in almost 8 years.

I'm going for Spare a thought for Rick : http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....html?t=651241

The masses on here sending well wishes to Rick and Fsdss have resulted in the OP (who is a marvelous, busy woman ;) ) going that extra mile. I am shattered just reading what she does! Anyway, on a serious note, alot of us are now giving blood. (Isn't it funny how something happening to someone else can really get hold of you?) Also the OP is trying to fundraise for relatives who need to be at the hospital, to make their time there that little bit easier!

Fsdss does not only deserve Post of the Month, but a Gold Clock for her selfless efforts! Also how she holds everything together, if we could all be a little more like her, the world would be a better place :)
