Hi there,
Can anyone tell me whether you can just send one letter with 1 x £10 fee if you have more than one account with a particular bank?
Hopefully it's not £10 per account...

My understanding is that it is 1 per person. In other words you are requesting all information that they have on YOU, not on a specific account

I have a joint account with H and we each have an account, all in the same branch. Do we need to sent one, two or three £10 cheques for statments and can we send them all together?
Oh and do we both need to sign the joint account letter?
Thanks for the help, I really want to get my letters off ASAP.0 -
Please can someone help me in my quest to claim back unlawful bank charges. My question is this: do I have to enclose a £10 cheque for all of the 4 accounts I want checked (all at the same bank) or will one £10 cheque cover the lot?
Many thanks.0 -

One letter with all the account numbers in that bank is fine. Send this with one £10 payment.

You will need two letters, and two £10 payments. Each of you will need to write seperately about your own account, but one of you can add the account number of the joint account on their letter. To claim for the joint account, you can do this together, or just one of you can claim for this account (it may be easier this way). How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I have 2 accounts with abbey and sent 1 letter for each account and spending £20 in the process!
Looking through the CAG site i noticed a thread stateing that I could have done it with one letter as the data they hold on me is as an indivdual and not per account.
So my questions are:
Is this correct (cant seem to get any replys from CAG)?
If it is, is there any way to claim this back?
Also has any one got the "step by step FAQ" from the CAG site as i am unable to download it from them, i have reported the broken link but no reply.
Sorry if this is going over old ground.Abbey Account 1 & 2

I am just abut to send letters to LLoydsTSB requesting the list of bank charges on my account. I have 2 accounts with them. Should I send £20 (£10 for each account) or £10.0

One letter, both account numbers, and one £10 payment is fine. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
