  • Hi,

Forgive me if this is a stupid queson but i checked out the travelodge link for £10 rooms, but couldn't find anywhere whether it was per room or per person. Cos if its per room its pretty amazing and just wanna check this before i book.If its per room, does anyone know how many people can share the room.

    Thanks,

    Dear TL old hands

Are there any semi-city based TLs?

I'm in London & don't have a car, so London ones are out & I'd be dependent on trains etc...

    thanks

Just booked a 2 night break in London (Heathrow) in August, which Im suprised about as the E mail says starts Friday and for rooms until 13 Apr 06 ?

Still lets see if they honour the booking.

They will, don't worry....at least, I've never had a problem, in several years of using their hotels. They have already taken your money, as these rooms are prepaid only. You can't cancel rooms like you can when you pay £45 +. so if your plans fall through you just have to say goodbye to the money. (unless Ebay do travelodge spaces?!)

It says on the website you can book rooms for up to 12 months ahead.

    Enjoy your break! :j

It's per room, and you even get ensuite bathroom, a kettle and a telly. A bit bland, but clean (usually) and comfortable.... and at that price, what more can you ask?

In the family rooms, there's a big double bed, and the other two are a couch bed and the truckle bed thing underneath it, which rolls out. Sometimes they've made it up already for your tired kids, more often not. They say max 3 adults - probably because the truckle bed is rather short.

    Good luck!

premierTravelinns seem to be more "in the city" in my experience: all the Travelodges I canthink of are right out of town, usually on a roundabout somewhere nestling up against the ex-Little Chef (sorry, am I putting you off?)

They have never done a £10 offer though - usually around £50, which is still pretty good for a family of 4!

    See https://www.premiertravelinn.co.uk (i think)
Brighton, Hereford and Epsom are all ones I can think of near stations, and Newhaven is near the ferry port.

This will probably all get moved to the Travel Trips and Holidays thread in a minute!

The Travelodge in Perth is just a short walk away from the Megabus Stop so you can have a nice cheap weekend away!
