apparently tesco emloyees were buying the store out of stock0 -
ginjim wrote:sorry was he boasting in store or on this website? i gather that information here can be personalised with particular situations eg. i bought a tv then the cs wouldnt give me it then dm came then another manager was called then security guy came over etc etc
i feel that any particular tesco employee can relate to that incident and descriptions can be made thats why i dont believe in giving personal accounts on here hense stay anonyomous
That occassion was in-store but things have been posted on here before in which the poster describes the whole scene, which in turn makes this a very interesting site especially when i can recall the incident;)
Also i found that people actually wish to almost give their location away in this forum.......Lots of Mispriced DVD's out there folks. Got seasons 1,2,3 and 4 Futurama Box Sets 19.84 Sticker, Scan and SEL 22.97 Bizet's Carmen 8.97 Sticker, Scan and SEL 19.99 and Fire Within Box Set Sticker 9.97, Scan and SEL 24.99
All today and all in South Wales. Also got over 100 of the 1p glowsticks, I think we can safely say that there are no more in south wales!
Useful info though!Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

Im going back years ago now but i remember a multisaver glitch on some crisps which basically meant you got 2 products for 5p or something after the multisaving had been deducted - Staff did indeed buy these products at the time as well as customers, In my time at Tesco i have only ever known of 1 member of staff being dismissed for such a thing and that was partly down to greed rather than taking advantage of the glitch.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

From my point of view the information is excellent but i would suggest that if you wish to remain an annoymous r+r'er you do not post detailed information on here about the transaction (Or indeed me:mad: );)Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
although its not illegal and its tescos policy there is nothing wrong with being an r+rer
i prefer to be the overcharged victim:p0 -

I guess that works id much prefer to think id dealt with a genuine 'case' rather than the customer to tell me they got their information from here - That only puts my back up and makes me want to ensure you have as much difficulty in obtaining an r+r in the future as possible - That may sound blunt but again thats just my view so sorry if it seems harsh.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
Hey,
Went to one of my local Tesco's to check out the misprices. The same tesco i got Jim Carrey Anthology for free.
I noticed that most of the popular R&R targets (Xbox games, Deal or no deal dvd,Over the hedge, and some others) had there SEL's taken away.
There were no prices on the shelf on a LOT of products mentioned on this site. Surely this is not legal. How are we meant to know the price?
It would only have the barcode on the SEL but no price on the product or on the SEL. I reckon this particular store must be aware of the common R&R targets but surely thay cant expect people to buy there products blindly?0 -

Stores are taking their own action on a store by store basis i guess after reading your post. Everyday a host message is sent to the store account and an e-mail to the SMs account detailing all products listed on this (and other) sites. Im sure this is a temporary measure until replacement lables are printed off showing the correct scanning price.....In the meantime you can always use the price check scanners;)Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
TescoEmployee wrote:Im sure many people on this site will take what im about to say out of context but i shall certainly be watching my CSD over the next few days for returns of DVDs by staff and i'll also be looking at any OCs that occur in my store to see if they match the information posted on here. I would suggest you need to be careful if you wish to remain a Tesco employee but hey thats only MY opinion.
 Actually i agree with you on this point.
A csa would have a fast amount of knowledge regarding mis prices therefore abusing their position if they actively seek these mis prices.
Don't bite the hand that feeds youI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0
