  • Can't you make a separate category for contests open for worldwide residents? This is such a popular site and I would enjoy it if there was the possibility to find contests all can enter. To go through all contests here is just not possible, when 95% of them are restricted to mostly UK. Would love to be able to find those open to all more easily.

    Hi getpalmd :hello:

The main audience of the MSE Comping Forum, (from my observations of Comper locations & comments), appears to be located in the UK & Ireland.

I'm not sure that the site owner would see your request as a priority as the main focus is on Money Saving & we are just a tiny little corner of it :) If you want to raise it with the site owner then it needs to be posted in the Site Feedback: Questions & suggestions Forum :)

Assuming that Martin & his team would not want to make a separate forum for worldwide entry comps, then the only way would be for a title convention to be put in place - oh & also for the Comp Finders to look for worldwide comps! If you have been around for a while on the forum, you may have noticed that this wouldn't really be workable as it has taken a huge amount of effort (& still does) to ensure people post the end date of a comp in the proper way.

I'm not sure if there are other comping website that would be able to help out with your needs? Perhaps you could pick the collective brains of the MSE Compers that frequent the Competitions Discussion Thread to see if any of them know of any Comp sites that would suffice as that thread has more footfall than the Comping Guide :o

Sorry I can't be of more help! :)

If u use roboform there is a "Save" button which comes in very handy on alot of comps where the forms need u to move the street name away from door number and put ticks in, for example, female first, marie claire, tiscali, i used this months ago to save the details, and it works without fail, speeds up alot of the comps which need details shifting to right area as roboform will automatically bring the details button up for u to click on.

Couldn't sleep  so added these now! :)
Not sure if everyone already knows this, but if you use gmail, most comps don't know it's the same as googlemail - it means an extra entry on the instant ones like cadbury, and the refer a friend ones you can actually refer the same email address you enter with, rather than using any spare addresses you have :)

Added! Getting Started I, 3 Does the email address I use affect my chances of winning a comp? Thanks! :)

  • Hi, I am sure I am being a bit thick but here goes my question. Do you have to enter all the radio station cometitions individually? Or is there a way that you can enter all in one fell swoop? I have looked at the comping guide but have not found the answer. Many thanks.

    Hi barabara2323pink :)

If you want to enter the radio station comps on more than one of the sites then you do have to visit each site that you want to enter it on. There isn't a way to enter them all in one click I'm afraid.

It can be made easier by using something like Roboform, for example, to save the details of your name & address etc for each site so you click 1 button then the answer on each site, but that's about as automated a way as we've found :)

  • I want to warn everyone about Premier Christian Radio. I have entered a few comps with them (posted on the main board) and opted out of future communications but they have continued to bombard me with a sea of postal junk mail. Please be aware!
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small
