how do you join the comp club? were you record the value of your wins and which # you are?
If you want to keep a note of the value of everything you win, that's fine, obviously, but there's no official challenge. The thread that someone started got merged in with comps discussions as the challenge had already been agreed for this year with a few hundred people joined up alreadyAl Mac Appreciation Society (AMAS) member # 6½

Any tips for finding the comps closing today when they've gone over to 'Game Over'. I didn't finish all the 31st ones lastnight, and now they've gone over, I find it a nightmare to find them, and it's a pain also having to check if the comp's actually from 2008 or before... Is there a better way??I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

I was just wondering if you reckon it makes any difference to your chances of winning if you put a mobile phone number down when entry forms ask for a number?0

Well, I often do the Game Over comps and I may miss a small few but I use search for the last 100 days and it works well. It's much easier. Hope that helps.MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday to answer these for you both yesterday, bit under the weather, but I'm here today so....Any tips for finding the comps closing today when they've gone over to 'Game Over'. I tend to try to keep up with the comps as they are posted rather than do them on or just before they close. The only thing I've seen others mention in the Discussion thread is about using a Google search for the comps as it finds them whether they are in Game Over or the Comps Time forum. I think you may already be aware of that one though, as you mention about checking they are from 2008. (Just in case you aren't using that method then it is described in the Getting Started (I) section - 2 Why can’t I search for comps that are ending on a certain date? )lookoutapiano wrote: »I was just wondering if you reckon it makes any difference to your chances of winning if you put a mobile phone number down when entry forms ask for a number?
Hi lookoutapiano :hello: (love the nick by the way!)
I personally don't think it makes a blind bit of difference whether you put a mobile number or a landline number (unless the comp specifically requests a particular type!) as I've been lucky to win quite a lot of comps & only ever use my mobile number. The big cash comps (Real Deal, GMTV etc) have been won many times by MSE'ers who only use their comping mobile number. So, unless stated by the comp I'm sure that many other MSE Compers would agree that it doesn't matterSad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0 -

I find them quite easily now the expiry date is all the same. I posted this in the comps discussion thread, but thought I should put it here as well for VGs guide.I manage to find them in there nearly as easily as out here. I search Game Over the same way as normal comps and select to display for the last 100 days, and that just shows this years not for the last few years as well. You just need to remember that you have to go past the unwanted monthes.
Hope that helps, maybe I should pm VG as well.My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -

If you want to enter the radio station comps on more than one of the sites then you do have to visit each site that you want to enter it on. There isn't a way to enter them all in one click I'm afraid.
It can be made easier by using something like Roboform, for example, to save the details of your name & address etc for each site so you click 1 button then the answer on each site, but that's about as automated a way as we've found
I use roboform and understand what you say, but I thought there was only ONE prize being shared between all the radio stations.
Is there any point in going through all the radio stations?
cheers
Eyeball Paulthanks to all posters
I've changed my facebook username to NOBODY so when I enter FB comps I press the "Like" button it will say NOBODY likes this0 -

It's 1 prize per site, personally I just enter on our local site but you can enter them all0 -
Ahh, last 100 days. It's a revelation. Cheers guys.
If only I could keep up with them VelvetGlove... :doh:I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0
