£60 cashback for car insurance

Options
Sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere.

If you buy car insurance from Lloyds TSB online you get an extra 10% off PLUS if you go through GreasyPalm or LineMyPocket you get £60 cashback.

My Fathers renewal was £351 and I got him a quote for £231 (saving a massive £120) ...and... I got £60.

Hope this info helps you.

Thanks, but having checked the site their cashback would have to be over £100 to beat my renewal quote !!

thanks for this... My wife's car is insured with Churchill and is due for renewal. New Churchill quote is £200. Lloyds TSB quote is £184 and then take the £60 off means net cost of £124..... Very Happy...

BTW - Lloyds TSB site says their policy is underwritten by ........ Churchill

Is the most annoying thing ever
  • Now been improved to £70.
I only applied last week when it was £60, may have to send the paperwork back under the 14 day "right to cancel" condition and start again, or even use the double the difference offer from Nationwide against my Egg quote and save a further few pound
What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots
  • Still didnt have anything on the greapalm account yesterday so i submited a ticket, to whcih i received a response saying they could not trace it!!!

Does anyone think i submiting a new ticket would help?

I have had a problem with a cashback not being recorded once before. I don't think there's anything that you can do about it as they will only give you the £60 if there's a record of you having made the transaction on their system.

I have used GP lots of times though and 99% of the time, you do get the cashback, even if you have to submit a ticket to get it.

This should be post of the month :) with big saving like this, the Op deserves a pat of the back. Ddint think I could get car insurance any cheaper that what I got quotes £105.
