We are going to Orlando on 24th November and hiring a car. We are staying very near International drive, my question is:
The trams seem very reasonably priced, would we be better of using them to visit Universal and Sea World (not doing disney) and not paying the parking fees?
Are the tram stops very near the entrances to the parks?
Thank for any replies in advance0 -

Parking at Universal is $11 a day but looking at THIS link the tram seems to stop about half a mile away from the park and is not really recommended, their words not mine. Seaworld parking is $9 a day I think so you will have to work out which is best for your party0 -
If this can be put on page one, it might be a bit of a user guide! Most of these I have used over the years, there are plenty more sites!!

Theme Park Tickets
Best value are annual passes, If you can have a second holiday within a year of the tickets 1st use it will save an average family of 4 about £500 on buying 2 sets of flexitickets.

General Info Sites
http://www.kissimmee-us192.com/
An excellent source of information for the Kissimmee area.
Contains a complete listing and map for everywhere on the 192 highway and surrounding areas as far north as Clermont and south to Haines City
Also has idiot proof driving guides from Sanford (SFB) and Orlando (MCO) airports to most hotels.
Two other sites when looking for a bargain is Travelcity direct and First Choice. With Travel City I have heard nightmare stories but I have travelled twice with them and everything was great.
Hope it helps gives a starter if nothing elseBe ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

Found this really helpful.
Just checked car hire for Florida and Airline Network best price. Even lets you book 1 week at half the price of 2 weeks. £84 for the compact. Pick up and drop off from different locations same price.
Hoping to stay in WDW so wont need the car for the full holiday.
Many thanks.

Any advice on the cheapest way to get to Orlando, anytime in November, I have somewhere to stay, but I will need a car, so maybe a fly drive. Any ideas? By the way it is for one person only!0
-
Hi,
I think we need more infomation, like where are you flying from and whats the duration of your stay?0 -
Hi sorry for lack of info, Can fly from any north-west (prefer Manchester) non-stop if possible, any time around 2nd-3rd week of November. Staying for 1 week or thereabout. I have had a look on some web-sites the cheapest I have seen so far has been £318+. This was flight only (no car)0

Try www.travelcitydirect.com They are usually one of the cheapest.0
