...Not very flush here and this sounds excellant, but dont want to screw it up
...if anybody can help me(i know some of you are expert at these kinds of things), then it would be great.
...Looking for a good hotel in the group, and a good room anywhere in the LA area for a night between the 16th-22nd October.
Thanks...0 -
I never had a response to my claim through the .co.uk site when I found it cheaper on .com, as per the new variation on the policy posted by GlennTheBaker on page 14 of this thread (the UK bunch were wriggling out of this by lying to Glenn about it being cheaper through their call centre).
Have sent several follow-up e-mails but no response.
Will fire off an MCOL tomorrow. If necessary I can get an affidavit off my partner attesting to the rate they offered over the phone.
Should be interesting to see if they treat the court with the same contempt they treat us. Will update in due course if/when they file a defence.0 -
I had a reply from the festive bird as well stating the same as the others so the free night could be back on. I have e-mailed the guy at the hotel who sent the original refusal e-mail, asking him to confirm I will not be charged.
I think I'll go along and stay anyhow even if I don't get confirmation back. I'll kick up a fuss if they try to charge me but if they do charge me I hope I can claim it back though because I can't really afford to pay £125 for a night!
Has anyone succesfully completed their free night stay yet, and if so were there problems at checkout?0 -
i think we will have to pay the bill and claim it back0

Sorry to say but you've missed the boat .
The T&C's have been tightened up considerably so probably highly unlikely that there'll be any more free rooms0 -
