Hi Everyone,
Hope you've all had a good couple of days. I forgot after posting that mammoth list last night to tell you all that I've lost 1lb this week.
Well done everyone who's lost weight this week so far.
How are you finding being back on SW again Ajax - unlimited bowls of cous cous, you must be in heaven. And as for Anne Franks drumkit....well, the least said the better....(but now I have an explaination for your dirty mind:rotfl: ).
I was just wondering if sometime we should try an experiment and see how much weight we manage to lose in a week of 2 extra "exercise" sessions which involve performing the funky fandango with our OH's. (at least they'd appreciate the effort, I know my OH would;) ).
Oh and Dragon I haven't forgotten about you. I'm just off to find my Dr. Phil book and let you know if he has any advice that would be different from what people on here tell you .Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
I've just been catching up a bit with all the posts and am amazed at the wealth of advice that I've read. Although none of it's directed at me I think I've found something of personal benefit in every bit of it. Thanks to you all, and not one of you sounds bossy or patronising just really thoughtful adn concerned for the well being of others. (Actually now I sound patronising
)
Just to add to the bit about losing weight too quickly, you probably know, but I'm going to tell you anyway, that if you lose too fast you lose muscle not fat. As your heart is a rather important muscle this is not a good thing. :eek:0 -

Can I second that  .
I've been lurking but not active since Friday and have been very neglectful too of welcoming lots of newbies (and welcome back raphael) and congratulating you loosers. Soand
congrats
. Sorry it's not individual. Will do better this week.
Petrichor - you were asking if anyone else experienced apathy. The answer is a big yes! I've been feeling that way for a few months, though the word 'listless' was the one I used for myself(:rotfl: ). It's a weird feeling, knowing there's things I want to do but just can't summon up the motivation to do it. Think I've been a bit low. Feeling quite a lot better for having 2 weeks off work (still got 6 days left).
I'm delighted to report a loss of 1.5 lbs this weekwhich means...
I've now lost 1.5 stone. Another target tumbles
.
My BMI is now 25.82 (forgot to thank you Suggs for the excel calcs to work out BMI).
Very happy. Thanks for all your support and fun that helps keep me motivated. I love logging on to this site.
BBI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Right, time to get back on track! I've ran out of eggs so ended up with toast this morning. I've had muesli for lunch at work, and I'm going to fry up some prawns for dinner, I've marinaded them in some garlic, coriander and paprika, and I'll mix them up with some salad, rice and peppers.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!
