KatiePC the high fibre Crackerbread is in a longish box (like the Crackerbread you've seen) but it's a slightly different colour box, and I'm sure it actually says Hi-Fibre on it somewhere! It's added to the porridge breakfast so that you are getting enough fibre. But as Lois said, the Weetabix Seriously Oaty is a HEB on it's own, and it's lovely.
Frankie scales are not really necessary while you're slimming - a far better gauge is your waistband. Do yourself a favour and ditch the scales!!!
Loopy so glad you had a good day, all those nerves for nothing
Missmoneypenny congrats on the 1lb loss :T
Honey I'm so glad you put that rice pud recipe up, I'd forgotten all about it and it's really tasty, not to mention quick and I like my food fast:rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
So, if I just have the porridge/cereal and not the extras what do I need to do - add syns on
Have more porridge/cereal
?
Any suggestions for breakfasts - going to try and change my HE - B's in a bid to encourage more pounds off next week. I usually have weetabix/bran flakes or if I am at home, porridge. Also going to cut bread (albeit Nimble) out completely this week.0 -
Hi,
Not been too bad today - did have a mini tube of Love Hearts I found in work though.
Otherwise stuck to it (apart from a 1 finger Twix - it was two but came to my senses half way through and gave the other finger away sharpish!) May just scrape in under the syns for today if I stop now!
To make up for it I have marched the dog up and down the streets of South Manchester for 1 hr.
WI on Wednesday so must be good tomorrow.....................
Good luck everyone!
Suggs - Welsh rugby was very good (expecting a lot worse) English rugby may have been better than expected but I can't bring myself to praise the old enemy!0 -

Hi all! please be patient - 1st time ever used a forum, but desperate to lose weight and too broke to join gym or club.
Lost 3st 7lbs by last Christmas & made great impression on hubby's VERY posh works do cos none of them had seen me since starting diet.
Bought great dress last January in sale to wear this year, but put on 1st 7lbs since!
Works do 16/17th Dec ( 2 nights posh hotel) HELP!!! Apart from dress not fitting, feel embarrased that weight has gone on again & don't want to face everyone.
1st off would probably be ok, but can't seem to get started.0 -
Hi Jeannie - you've come to the right place for advice and support.
Your Christmas 'do' is just under 6 weeks away, so if you can manage to lose 2lbs a week you'll lose just under a stone. That is quite a steep target, but not impossible. How much do you think you'd need to lose to get into the bargain dress?
LL
p.s. don't worry too much about what other people think of you gaining weight - they probably won't even notice!Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -

YIPPEE!!! I'M SOTW!:j :j :j :T
After puddling around with it so abysmally all summer it is good to have got it together at last!.Thanks for all the advice folks - I guess the silver has it. Of course, when I went back to asda it was to find they had sold out of my size and the biggest they had was a 12! (anyone got any tips on how to lose about 3 stone in 6 days?)
Still hopeful - they are expecting an order tomorrow!
DD has made me a sort of advent calendar where I get to 'open' a window for each pound I lose. Behind each window is a letter and, when I have lost a stone, my 14 letters will make an anagram, telling me what little treat she will give me as a reward! :A Awww! Bless her little cotton socks - still doesn't get her out of tidying her room though(!):p0 -
Well done Katy!:j
Good luck with the silver quest!0 -
well done katy!
thanks for the advice about the porridge - i've put it on my shopping list. And Lois, my total loss to date is 9.8kg. I think I'm subconsicously relaxing a bit because I'm now backt o the weight i was 2 years ago when I met OH. However, I want to keep going! The porridge will be a good kick. ANd I'll keep looking for that krackerbread, thanks consultant.0
