Tesco misprice discussion area part 12

been to my local store today, but with little success, there were loads of items due to runout on the 31st so was up bright and early to bag some bargains. It would seem that my local mr T is very switched on, as I failed to find one.
Checked all electrical, dvd, video, home goods, meats and chrimbo special, absolute zip. Did find a misprice on some value chickens SEL 20p more than the items, but was charged the lower figure and had to forget my c/card.
I see a battle of wills and attrition beginning, our store had at least 4 going round with those hand held scanner gizmos while I was in the electrical section alone. Does anyone have some suggestion of when it is best to undertake the tour, I was in before 9am which was clearly already to late.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
Has anyone got the link to the cpjackson misprices thread please?
I've just changed computer and have mislaid it. It's so useful to print out the list.
Many thanks
ButterfliI'll catch up tomorrow!0 -
Just had a very nice Morphy Richards Fastbake Coolwall breadmaker.
Big signs and SEL said £34.94 reduced from £44.98 Scanned at the higher price.
Went to CS who checked the prices, and was offered the difference as the offer was out of date. She said that was all the Manager had told her to give me. Asked to speak to him, she went off, came back 5 mins later full refund.
Another example of Tesco store management not applying the store policy and telling staff to give the difference. We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -
Don't know if this will come up as a link but this is the address:-

On the Discount Codes n Vouchers thread - DavidDonna has just posted a useful thread about Tesco vouchers - check it out here on this link:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=295189
It says the following:
We aim to fulfil our promises. If you can't find the special offer that we have advertised, we will give you a 'voucher' for your next visit.
Also, regarding there bulk purchase policy, it says this:
BULK ORDERING - You can place orders in advance for large purchases for those great party or wedding occasions.
I wonder if I can bulk order a mispriced product which I know is going to be a misprice or the BOGOF is known to fail?? Interesting and thought provoking I thought.0 -

Bought Bubbly + Caramel R&R
Don't touch the fresh burgers in buns SEL £1.88 pack £1.98, or fresh 1/4 pounders SEL £1.48 pack £1.88, on the fresh meat section. Both charged at SEL (lower) price.
Does that mean you got charged less than was stated on the pack price? They've got cars big as bars
They've got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you

Not my transaction but I would say definitely. IME this happens pretty regularly with the 'fixed pack price' ones but never with the ones where the £ per kg is less on the SEL than the pack.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0
