I got 3 packs of Lamb chops today, Should have been £2 off per kilo but there were only older packs on the shelf ~(at the higher price) Informed cs lady that the discounted hadnt come off. She went to look at the shelf and then informed me that I should have got the ones from the end of the isle (despite the fact that the POS under the ones I had bought was displaying the lower price) She offered to show me what she meant. At this time I felt that she was actually going to ask me to collect a refund on them and purchase the lower price ones. To my sheer amusement there was a man working in the isle when we returned to it and on her explaining to him what had happened he promptly showed her the PoS that he had just taken off and told her that I had been over charged and I should now get them free - Her face was a picture!!! He put her on the spot and ask if she agreed as she said yes and walked away he winked at me. I didnt have to say a word - excellent. r and r of £16.

  • Ok, Becks are scanning at 7.98 so no oppurtunity there!
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
  • Have you seen the thread about the tins of chocalates..quality streets?
Bit like the Kids games buckaroo/Twister.. she bought 4 big tins and only paid 7 odd..its on the misprices thread..last one!

This would be quality..no pun intended! hehe
  • Seen it too. It's on my list for later. Really hope it works as this would be great for presents!
:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A
  • She bought two tins of Quality street and two tins of celebrations. I am going to try that exact combination. Trouble is though I don't fancy paying £20 for them if it doesn't work!

  • Sorry for such a silly question but once I find some meat priced wrong per kg what do I say to CS. For example I buy some steak on the SEL it say £6 per kg but on the packet it says £7 per kg.
This is just bugging me due to trying it once and the CS saying that I must have seen this before I purchased it so wouldn’t give me a r&r

    Thanks in advance

BEWARE! I happened to just buy 2 tins of Celebrations (wanted them anyway and saw they had gone down to 2 for £9). The offer did NOT come off twice, only the correct amount off '2 for £9'. This was in a Metro at 10.30am.

BUT just posted on the misprices thread....PRINGLES WITH 25% EXTRA FREE!!

Stock up for Xmas everyone, the 25% extra free Pringles (Sour Cream was what I got) don't work with the yellow SEL offer '2 for £2.30'. I guessed it wouldn't, have had this from 2 stores already today.

In the second store the CS tried to say 'it's only on the 170g ones', I was ready for that, it's a similar argument to the KP Peanuts. She said 'do you want a Manager?' 'Yes please' I said as I have never seen one there (CS knows me though, lol!).

While I waited I read the small print under the yellow flashed '25% extra free'. It says '213g for the normal selling price of 170g'. Yesssss, I thought!

15 year old spotty Manager appears. I explained that all their shelves had these packs in stock with the '2 for 2.30' SEL, and I guess the offer didn't work because they've changed their packaging. But I would still expect the offer to work because you shouldn't pay more for a freebie....(I then pointed to the small print on the Pringles tube).

He read it, agreed, full R&R! Go get them and save the small-print argument in case you need it for a Manager, it will leave them with no option but R&R!

EDIT: see other posts about this, looks as though Sour Cream/Onion and Paprika are R&Rable unless your store has made an adjustment. NOT ORIGINALS (UNLESS YOU JUST ADD ONE TO YOUR BASKET).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
