The chocs worked for me! I think you have to buy the quality street as well to kick in the double discount. Also works on multiples of the same combination.0

Just got back from Teso in Sale, Cheshire. I don't read this thread usually so I didn't know about the Quality Street/Celebrations misprice - but I think that may be over. The lady in the till next to me had 6 tins and was in a big row with the manager because they were going through at £10 for two I think, when they had previously been 2 for £3.50. This was explained as a misprice which had now been corrected - they were not letting her have them cheap as the price on the system had been changed. The SA on my till confirmed that she had just put a couple through but they weren't going through now.
Got upstairs to the carpark to find an elderly lady talking to a manager (yes in the carpark) because she had been charged £10 and others had paid £3.50. She did say the shelf price was not £3.50 at any time, but was very miffed to be charged a different price than others had paid.0 -
Oh no! Well I am trying it this afternoon. If it does work it will be funny as I will have four big tins of chocs to carry on the buggie along with a baby inside and a toddler AND half hour walk to the nearest Tescos!!:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A0

i also went to pengam green.. tried same combination and seperatly...
2 quality street and 2 celerations = £18
then
2 celebrations = £9
then 2 quality = £9
Was gutted..luckily i tried the 4 together on self scan then told the lady i needed them on seperate receipts so she removed and i started again0 -
I'm sure it has been posted previously that Extras, Metros and normal stores update at different times? This might explain why some got them and some didn't. It may help if we post what type of store it was if we got the deal (or not).0

Good idea, just waiting for OH to finish his sandwich then I'm dragging him Tesco. Anyone in Wales had any luck with this?0 -
Didn't work at Extra in Talbot Green, thought i might be lucky as there was a huge gap were the celebrations should have been and only a couple of tins left0

Tecknika wireless keyboards and mice sets available on out of date SEL £12.nn
scans £14.nn.
Have no use for them so did not buy.
Still plenty of stationary around in black 'back to school' boxes with a lower price than the SEL printed on the box.
Generally there seems less fish to catch this week.
The Pringles 2 for £2.30 concerning packs with 25% extra, seems to be a very sneaky offer. All the flavours that are 25% extra (mixed in the general display) don't have a yellow SEL. So strictly speaking Tesco could argue there not included in the offer. The overally sign just states Pringles - 120g / 300g.
The 25% extra ones are 213g.
Got a £39 refund on products previously R&R'd, so not completely bleak.
24th October seems to be the next big date when lots of offers end. So get in those stores next Wednesday morning. Let battle commence, good luck.0 -

This is just bugging me due to trying it once and the CS saying that I must have seen this before I purchased it so wouldn’t give me a r&r
Thanks in advancePinkPunter wrote:To all you old timers!! This one confuses the hell out of me...I find them but never know what to say??? I did it with the 4 Lamb Chops a couple of days ago & said I thought maybe the price came up different when scanned at the till. Can't keep saying that....so come on spill the beans...how do you guys do it ??????
I do it the same way every time ( although i'm not yet an old-timer....lol)....theres basically no other way....Yesterday I said exactly the same ("I expected the discount to come off at the till") to 2 different CS and they just accepted it.
Again, it depends on the mood of the CS.....try going to the younger CS rather than the older ones who seem to think your RandR is going to affect their pension.
As for the comment and refusal nukekickboxer got......You just have to stand your ground and ask for her/his boss, its not your responsibility to make sure everything is priced up correcectly......and if 2 prices are shown, the lowest must be chargedCouponing....."every little hurts"

Without wishing to diminish the enthusiasm of this post, others may want to think long and hard about getting repeat refunds for the same item.
It over-steps the boundaries of R&R - I don't think that anyone on this thread should be encouraging others to go for this.
But that's just me.
