Orange and O2 are just fine with our company, thanks. Please stop making wild assumptions. MJ, you too - "Orange are well aware of their practices" is just meaningless bile you are using to try and harm our company as you actually have zero knowledge about the industry other than hearsay and your own warped perceptions. You're what the Americans call an "armchair quarterback".
As you very well know if you check back to the post regarding the waiting time on the phone when my problems with your company started O2 were on the phone to you also on hold at the same time I was acting on my behalf.
Don't try to deny it because it was run live on here as it was happening if you remember.
I've spoken to several people at O2 and they are far from happy with the level of service you offer their customers !
For some reason Ben you seem to be in complete denial about just how bad your company is regarding CS the sooner you wake up regarding this and start implementing some changes before it's too late the betterIt's not just about the money0 -

Last correspondence forwarded (with tracking info) to ben@ at your desk. Hopefully this will help in your returning the handset, though I have spoken to the carrier by telephone this morning and they are aware of the pending return and will carry this out too.
PLEASE get someone from your organisation to write to me to confirm this. AGAIN I am writing via your site (your preferred method, according to your conditions) and not receiving acknowledgements or replies. Enough's enough.

To other posters, I'd ask that you begin a thread discussing mobiles.co.uk in a more general sense, than use this to fight with Ben. Unfortunately, as positive as your intentions may be, it's become difficult for Ben to engage here and this is hampering my attempts to resolve matters. Whilst I would not wish to dissuade you from revealing your experiences with mobiles.co.uk, perhaps here isn't a good place to do it.

The posts on here are to try and help you and others understand it's a complete waste of time relying on Ben to assist you based on past performance. I'm not quite sure you understand the situation and how many threads you have read regarding the company.
It may help you see the situation if I explain a little.
The "Ben" you are talking to on here is Ben G who is the marketing manager ...the word "Marketing" explains his posts
The Ben you would be better talking to is Ben S who is the Operations Manager ....email address available if you want it but i wouldn't hold my breath for a reply from him either :rotfl:
Edited to remove the name of the man who wishes to remain nameless and put his name to any of his actions
So to find out the name of who he is put "mobiles.co.uk" marketing manager in google !
If you want the name of the operations manager do the same with "operations managerIt's not just about the money0 -

It's clear that the CS offered by mobiles.co.uk is below par and frustrating that I've had more 'attention' to the incident via this site, than by their own 'preferred' method of communication (i.e. direct email). I'm under no illusion as to the failures and short-comings of their service, which is largely the reason why I decided to cancel my order with them. In spite of boasting of 'Order by 4pm's on their site, I received no communication from them in 4 days, which is why I ordered with someone else (in spite of my repeated attempts both by telephone and email to garner the status of my order). They then had the temerity to send an 'order completed' on the 4th day and ignored my cancellation message sent 12 hours beforehand.
So I'm not completely naive here, but I recognise that it's only going to be resolved if they start to listen and unfortunately this thread has become largely about arguing with each post Ben makes, rather than reaching a resolution.
I'm more than happy to read, contribute and validate any thread devoted to 'reviews of their service', but unfortunately their inclusion here just seems to be distracting from any attempts at a dialogue (which is sorely lacking in every other media they prefer to use).
So Ben, if you want these 'nay sayers' to be quiet and stay out of it - perhaps a more pragmatic and productive process could be engaged, beginning with your responding to emails.
