Oi, CWTA, watch it cheeky :p . I still don't know what the SF ball is  and what is SLE?
The SF Ball is the Science Fiction Ball. All things Trekky, Stargate-y, anything like that really was my impression. They have guests there from the science fiction world - writers, actors etc... :) I think she did post a link once upon a time... Think is was this one..?

You'll never guess what I saw in Sainsbury's today Unity...only Taste The Difference Ecceflechan (sp?) pie/cakes!!! I nearly wee'd when I saw em!! :rotfl:

Cwta trying to get the house a little straighter before taking the pics, but trust me I'm working on it... :) The heating is better, but I'm still not convinced it's as roaring as it should be...might just be that the house is that much colder to begin with...?
BZ congrats, I knew someone was getting married but I kept losing track of who it was...lol. I bet you can't wait, I think I saw ur dress in an earlier post it is gorgeous, really feminine and romantic.
Aww shucks, thanks :) I am getting more excited as time progresses...but not sure whether it's nervous excitement cos I'm aware of how much I still need to get done!! I think my mum's coming to have a look on Monday...if I don't get her cleaning the windows and bathrooms in the new house for me ;)

I've just got back from taking MIL2B shopping and I'm pooped. I've got those horrible pains that start in your heels and end up skewering your ankles...anyone know the ones I mean?

My sister's back in the country and wanting to see me (apparently) but being a bit of a princess about it. I have little patience for the princess routine and told her point blank that I don't do trains so wouldn't be braving them for her. She wasn't happy with that as she's complaining about her energy levels... She hasn't been diagnosed with anything (other than IBS to my knowledge) and whether she has an undiagnosed energy problem or not I kinda think she's been complaining of it for long enough to have learnt how to compensate...? Like if I was going to another country, unless it was a dire emergency, I would've planned it in advance so I knew where I was staying and how I was travelling and either made sure there would be friendly people along the way to help me, or I would take OH... this type of logical thinking doesn't seem to apply to her and it's very annoying at times! :o Am I being cruel?

Well I should email over the inventory list to the rental agents (that I should've given them by today...oops! :o) and then I'm going home to have tea with my lovely fianc! :D

    It's not pathetic...it's just...erm... a soft touch? :confused::D

I probably won't be on over the weekend as trying to monopolise OH's attention and get some more house stuff sorted... hopefully back in the week though.

Stay warm and happy every one and remember...nearly 7 months to the wedding!! :D :j:T:beer:

Yes it was-l thought it was worth a try-even if getting into the position for doc to give it was bl**dy painful!

I have bursitis......went for a jab in my right left hip 2 weeks ago and it hasnt worked for me either.....but I allowed a student to do it, so I dont know if it is that or what. It was painful when the doc was pressing on the right area to show the student

I have it in all the bursae in my hips so the internal ones still hurt anyway.

I dont know what else there is to do about it now.

    What do you try?

Hope you are feeling better Sharon, I Have had those steriod injections, but in my arm, felt better for about 20 mins but after that worse than before!!!

Am snowed in here, drifts up to the front and back door, can't even see the street, just miles of white snowfields. Too cold for me -7 now.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and well as can be.

Hi BZ, did you try the Ecclefechan pies? I keep meaning to pick some up and give them a go - purely for evaluation you understand ;). Don't go getting all incontinent on my account though :rotfl:. Thanks for telling Kassandra what the SF ball is and sorry Kassandra - I came on here meaning to yesterday and promptly forgot!

Sharon, I am sorry the injection didn't work - I too have bursitis and it didn't work for me when they tried it either - but I didn't want to say anything before in case it put you off ;). I love the sock monkey - is it really made from socks? If I use DS's will I end up with a gorilla?:D

Raeh - I'm glad I made you laugh, it's true though - you only have to look at the Marquis of Bath, he's eccentric :D.

Pennypincher - I never thought about looking elsewhere for possible funding - any ideas where to start? I may just mention to the LA that I am due another voucher towards a wheelchair (mine had to have a suspension) but since the current one is still in great condition (well looked after + I'm not using it so much now) they can pay for the stair-lift instead! ;) Like I have a cat in hell's chance :D.

And to everyone - hope you all have a good weekend :T
