Disney is ok in July August, better than in Spring, but remember it will be very humid, with heavy rain in the afternoon for about 20 mins - then clear skies.
Regarding getting cheap flights - depends how many of you are travelling, if its just 2, it ould be worth holiding out, if its 4 or 6, less chance of getting a deal.
regarding villas, you can pick them up really cheap now, as there are far too many on the market. Last time I went I left it till a week before travellig, and enquired on-line with a few owners, and made some offers, one took a real low offer. If the villas was going to be empty, best have some money than no money..0 -

It's a stupid idea, unfortunately.
Late deals on flights operate on the basis that you are desperate to travel and will therefore pay top price.
Not necessarily. If flights are not selling, they will reduce the prices shortly before the date. This is more likely to happen in June than late July though.0 -
Hi we've been in September fairly busy reasonable queues, but obviously you can use fast pass so not too bad.
We've also been in May & I can highly recommend it, as single riders, just walked on so many rides without queueing & even family rides very short queues or used fast pass again. We found the weekends busier & exasperating compared to weekdays & ase were there for 21 days, & had a 21 day pass, just left & went to a waterpark instead.
Fantastic place
Hope you have a great time:D
Sorry no idea re flights as have been on package hols both times, which I booked early shopped around & did some haggling:rotfl:Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Go May June or September and book it late if there are only 2 of you If your a large family book in advance
Or if you want a specific villa book in advance
It all depends on how flexable you can be
I have booked as late as 2 days and got flgihts for £89 (a few years back now) also booked packages as low as £600 with flight, hotel and carhire inc insurace for 3 weeks
Bok when the time is right for your party and when your happy with the priceIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -

If you can go next week from Gatwick then you'll find some bargains now...

I am looking to book for Florida (Orlando) next August also. Yes I'm a teacher too! When looking on screen scrapes they don't have much choice yet. I think it would be better to wait until all airlines release their prices but I don't know when that will be do you? I found flights for 4 on 15/8 for a family of four that was £683 each and wasn't any cheaper for children. I'm hoping to pay less than this! As for booking with a US site, why would there be a penalty? I think it might be cheaper this way as the pound is strong against the dollar but if things change and you haven't paid the full amount then you might end up paying a lot more than you thought. It's hard work looking for a good deal!!I have just been looking to fly to Florida next year, during school hols (I know.... but with 2 kids, and me working in a school, so I'm limited with dates!!)
All the UK web sites show Virgin as being the cheapest non-stop (£3893.80) however on the screen scrapes I've just done off this page, CHEAPOAIR.COM (via mobissimo.com) shows Virgin at being $4031 (£2035). Both include taxes
The flight numbers are different, but only because they have both shown different flights on the same day as being cheaper.
Is there a penalty for buying the same flights from a US site, when I could potentially be saving £1800??0
