Can't understand anyone stressing about Euro exchange rate. Cancel your holidays in Europe and go to the USA and get loads of $$$$$$$$$$$$.....and in any case everything is cheaper over there.0

I'd just get enough to tide you over 'til you can get to a cash machine over there, then use your (hopefully Nationwide!) debit card. I have noticed that some of our Marks and Spencer shops have euro cash machines so you could use your debit card to get what you need (hopefully without paying commission) Just keep an eye on the tourist rates in the papers and cross your fingers!!0

Sorry if im yet again in the wrong place. Am going on hol in July to Majorca, want to take euros should I buy them now or wait till July? Thanks for help as im ignorant as far as exchange rates are concerned.
Id wait till june the 13th, which is the festive day of brahma, you need to go to the post office and say "hello i've come about the norwegian blue parrot" upon which they will give you an un-repeatable deal of 1.5 euros to the pound, or you could read the million and one posts about this question, if any of us knew what was going to happen in the currency markets we wouldnt be on here we would be out selling everything we owned to ensure we could make millions with the knowledge.

Hi
I'm going to get some euros (about £50 but think most orders are minimum £100) and saw that good comparison site on MSE.
I was wondering what's the best way of then cashing back any unused euros after my trip back into £ - what's the best company etc.
Thanks
Bob0 -
There's no minimum order if you get them in person.
Best way of cashing unused euros is to sell them to a friend. Any other way and you lose out big time.0 -
Hi we are going to Skiathos in July, the first time we have gone on holiday abroad. Are we best taking cash, Travellers cheques, or a debit/credit card? Just want to know what is the cheapest and easiest way to get our money, and the best way?0

I'm sorry if I sound rude but have you actually read any of the information on this thread or for that matter looked at any of the travel money articles in the resource bar?0 -

do you have a crystal ball?
if so, take a look and see which way GBP/EUR foreign exchange rate is going to move over the next few days......:rotfl:
only joking
truth is, its not going to move that much, so its not really worth fretting about
just do it now and be done with it if i was you. Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
(MSE Andrea says ok!)0
