i doubt it, though if it was a 1.09 dual core that means on multithread applications you have the power of 2.18ghz which might be just enough0

I don't think its quad core as I've had it 4-5 years
and I don't think quad core was around then, think a new computer is in order, just wish I had the finances to do it

Honestly the PC sounds a bit too dated. I suspect that there would be other requirements as well that would not be met.
edit: checking ram, graphics card etc would give another indication as well0 -
Sounds like an Old Pentium 4 to me?No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Hi, you probably have a 1.9GHz Pentium 4 - that's a 6 or 7 year old processor and will be noticeably slow using modern software.
Its good going you kept it for that long. Time for an upgrade! You could get a decent second user PC with 3GHz dual core (Pentium D) processor for about £75 that would zoom along compared to the current one.0 -

If I remember correctly it's an Athlon AMD but no idea the number or anything as my neighbour built it for meI have had numerous problems with it since I got it in feb 2005 so will be glad to put it in storage till we get a bigger house and the kids can have it.
Thank you all so much for your help, I thought it was going to be too old to play and I was right, shame really, was my first PC:idea: Jan 09. if you open your "run" command box and type "dxdiag" should give you a summary of your key PC hardware, you can also save it as a text file you could paste here
....that is if your PC isn't too old even for that command.....
