newish are those wrap the 2 eggs, 2 ox cream cheese recipe? i was going to try those later in week

    Yep, you're right;)

I can't remember where I found this recipe, it might have been on pig2twig??

It's actually a recipe for pancakes (and they look like pancakes when cooked) but, you can apparently use the same mix to make layers in caneionni, lasagne and yorkshire puddings

    Recipe as follows;

Cream Cheese Pancakes (makes about 4, each about 7" diameter)

    2oz cream cheese
    2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract (omit this if making wraps)
    1 tblsp cream

Mix all the ingredients together (easier with a hand blender as cheese can be lumpy) and cook as a normal pancake.:D

    My way is Atkins;)

I'd completely forgotten about the headaches. :( Had a topper for most of today. I suspect it's more from the caffeine withdrawal than anything else. I'm trying to sip water all day (I hate water with a vengeance so this is hard  ).

I had to go out unexpectedly and was away for longer than I'd hoped so lunch was an Atkins Bar from Boots. :o

Breakfast was bacon and egg and dinner is about to be steamed chicken and a small salad.

I also bought cauliflower when I was out as I quite fancied the pizza thingy mentioned earlier in the thread. Will go hunt for it shortly.

Suemagoo, I've just spotted your post....and in answer to your query....yes I need to lose a fair bit. I'm too embarrassed to say how much tbh. :o I'm never backwards at coming forwards about anything else but I'm quite ashamed now about how much extra weight I have on me. It never used to bother me but for some reason I'm quite mortified now.

*cue all the visions of aliasojo the size of Titanic* :rotfl:

  • Nom, nom, NOM!!!!

I had ham and cheese for brekkie, mackerel and green salad for lunch (and 2 squares of 85% choccie :))

Then we've just had chicken fillets fried in butter and seasoned with lemon and chilli powder, mashed cauli with cream and cheese and mange tout (Rodney).

We'll have strawberries and cream for dessert :)

I also have a nut bread cooking ready for brekkie.

    Am I doing it right?

    meals for today -
brekkie - lots of bacon and an egg ( stocking up on protein )
lunch - home made turkey soup ( 2 large handfuls of barley in a 7 litre pot )
dinner - left over roast pork with cabbage green beans brocolli and a few carrots
snacked on pate and cracker ( i know !! ) and some ham and cheese
dranks lots of black decaf tea and water - have also done 1 bodypump class and half an hour on the wii fit

hello to the new ppl on the thread :)
couple of things i noticed - why would you have steamed chicken when you could have lovely roasted chicken with crispy skin or fried chicken - you need your fat remember
if your doing atkins induction then strawberries arent allowed but if your doing dr d - i'll shush ...lol

They are quite robust. Probably almost as good as the normal wraps (but not quite). I have taken them to work and they have been fine.

Actually, I saved one today and froze it. I will thaw it and eat it tomorrow to see if its ok. I just thought that it would be much easier if these were made in large batches and then defrosted as needed. I hope it turns out ok;)

Dunno what happened to my nutbread - it's all crumbly, and came out of the tin (reluctantly) in 2 bits :(
  • Nut bread. Yum.

How much can I eat per day?
