Just checking the maths on the new deal:
£339 - 4.5% from Quidco = £323.75
Old deal £299 + £23.06 for quality Crucial memory (£21.14 Minus 7% from Quidco = £19.66 plus postage of £3.40, total £23.06). Total price for comparable system on old deal £322.06 - still cheaper.0 -
Just off the phone to Dell customer care...
"not sure if I want to keep the laptop, it's performance isn't great, and it was an impulse buy"
I got worried when he said that they would come and pick it up without charge  (I love my laptop)
Then started umming and ahh-ing about wether to keep it or not
EVENTUALLY he offered me a £30 discount... I pushed for £50, but no such luck, 'reluctantly' (HA, yeah right!) settled for a £30 reduction:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
my laptop, bigger screen, bigger battery, 1yr C+R now only £3300 -

is this right? or am I looking in the wrong place
thanks
Jim
well that was last week when I looked, the offers seem to change every wednesday. received the laptop yesterday with the increased memory and battery and am very pleased with it - or I was until my daughter (whose present it is) came home from uni a week early to pick it up and I'd hardly had a chance to play!
if you don't like this weeks offer then just wait a wee while - good luck!0 -
I need some advice from you guys. Just been off the phone to dell regarding a return of the 1330 which was ordered on 24 february. Was told as has been over 7 days cannot return. Is this true or BS??0

I understood the distance selling regs gave you 7 days from the day you received the items to return them, custom made orders can be excluded by the distance sales regs (i think) so you might fall down on this if you upgraded or added your own specs

Some good news, in my area anyway, Dell are now sending parcels via Business post rather than UPS. The local driver now has my mobile number and rings to ask if it's ok to leave parcels with a neighbour etc
No more 80 mile round trips with passport to collect from nearest UPS depot.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?
That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.0 -

Glad it worked for you. I only got £25, but when they phoned up to confirm payment made onto card, they said £50. Need to contact CC to check but not round to it.0
