I'm getting lots more from yougov at the moment too, about 6 this month I think, which is great cause I'm only a couple of quid off the big 50!! It has taken me I think 3 years BUT I did get bored doing the surveys and stopped for ages. I'm doing rather well out of Quidco and matched betting at the moment..there's threads for both of them on here. I worked out I made about £200-250/month since end of Feb.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Well I know its not earning extra money as such but hopefully a few free meals, I've been accepted as a mystery diner! Not sure whether to tell Mr HQ, he might think I'm treating him!!0

YouGov surveys seem like buses, none appear for ages and then a few of them will show up, one after another. I've been ignoring their survey e-mails for a week or two due to pressing personal issues, so logged on this morning to see if I was still eligible for any that hadn't expired. There was just one, promising me £1 for participating. On opening the survey, it asked me how many children I had. I clicked the radio button which said 'four or more', and YouGov told me I'd completed the survey. If only every quid was as easy to come by
I've been with YouGov for about two years now, and have made just over £100 from it (though there have been a couple of short periods like above, when it's just been ignored). I used to do better (about £150-£200 in each year) writing for Ciao and dooyoo, but I had a distinctive style of writing which I've now closed the door on. Though it seemed popular, people appeared to find it entertaining and I didn't actually write all that much looking back, I just don't want to be that person any more. If I could start again just writing straight consumer reviews then I probably would, but I don't think you're allowed more than one account on these sites and I'm not keen on resurrecting the old ones.
There's definitely money out on the 'net (though in most cases it isn't a fortune), and anything I've made cost me next to nothing in time. It all stacks up eventuallyEek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0 -
Hi
I have myself booked onto a 4 day intensive plastering course at a cost of £260, so hopefully I will come away from that with a good enough standard to do this on the side at weekends. Hopefully I will redeem the cost of the course in the first job or 2.0 -
Good luck save-a-lot hope it goes well!0

Good Luck save-a-lot..finding a good plasterer is always difficult and I'm sure you wont be short of extra work once you're known.0

Have just found out about a new survey site if anyone is interested, had a look about but couldn't see a mention of it (sorry if i missed it).
Anyway, it's called pure profile and it is a bit more interesting than other survey sites as you get paid for doing searches (like on kelkoo/google) and you get 40p a time. Also they send surveys through, my last one was on a quick internet ad, took less than 5 mins and got £1 credit. I've not been a member long and up to £5 credit already. When you get to £25 you can redeem for CDs, DVDs, cinema, Boots and shopping vouchers and more. Or get your pounds paid straight into your bank account. It's free to register and you get credited immediately after your survey.
You can join here:
http://www.pureprofile.co.uk/entry.asp?P=949085987&refID=1069
(I would get credited for telling you about it)

I joined this a couple of days ago, but cannot see anywhere that it says you get paid for doing searches. I just did a search using Pure Profile's search facility and answered the 2 research questions Pure Profile asked me, but no money was added to my account. Can you let me know how this works please?0 -
They email you when there is some for you to do. IT seems that the more profiles you complete the more you get I think. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
