mumoftwo.. It depends on the make of the toys tbh..duplo, lego, little tykes, playmobil all sell really well.. Toys are usually bulky to send as well and it is a good idea to have some good scales so you can get an idea of how much it will be to post.. I'm lazy and just stick £2.50 on most stuff.. that covers, ebay fees, post & packing.. then it is all up front, bidders can see how much it will be and if they think it is too much they don't have to bid.. I don't care! lol The toys here I just sent straight to charity shop.. bit mad though when we are walking down the street and the children say ' oh we have one of those' .. and it 'was' ours lol I have learned to buy only clothes which I know will sell on.. boden, next etc.. all in the sales and I often get back more than what I paid for them!!

I find the photographing eaSY.. i DO A PILE AT ONCE.. UPLOAD TO THE PC.. i USE TURBOLISTER TO DO THE LISTINGS WHICH IS REALLY SIMPLE AND MUCH QUICKER TO USE.. darn capslock.. sorry.. the worst part I find is describing the things, it is so laborious and tedious!!! I upload when I have a round number.. 10 or 15 usually.. that way they don't all end at the same time.

I do invoices as soon as possible after they finish.. parcel the things that have sold usually on a sunday morning when hubby is at church with the children and I post as soon as possible.. which can take me up to a week!!!!

I am currently saving my paypal money for christmas presents for the children.. I'll transfer it to my bank account when there is over £100 (there is at the moment) and I will keep it in my savings account gaining interest until December when I will buy lots of junk to fill my rapidly emptying house..

When I get parcels in I use the outer packaging to refill and get rid of as much in volumn as came in.. it works in my mind!!! lol

I need to sort through my mound of coats and get some of those shifted next I think.. I have at least 5 that can go..no 6.. I remembered another one.

    Evening everyone,
You've all been busy! Hope you're all ok...... I am around and following the thread even though I'm not posting alot. ;)

So, my day went like this:
    Wednesday, Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1

    [strike]Check fire alarms are working
Vacuum floor in bedroom and on landing[/strike]
    Level 2
[strike]Remove bed linen and wash, replace with fresh
    Clean window & wipe windowsill[/strike]
Took littlies to a local manor house that's open to the public, and free, where we sat and picnic'ed.
Came back home then nipped around to a friend for a cuppa and chat.

    Level 3
[strike]Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen
    Wipe doors and handles[/strike]
    Extra mission tasks
[strike]Wipe at least one door and it's frame, don't forget the handle
Dust skirting boards in any one room
Sort one clothes drawer or wardrobe area, even if for 5 minute, remove anything that shouldn't be there
Clean your vacuum cleaner out, get that hair off that brush, it'll improve it's performance aswell as being cleaner![/strike]

Dh is bathing and reading to the littlies and I'm just cooking the dinner. I need to put together a couple of flat-packed dining chairs MIL gave me yesterday but other than that I've nothing else to do.

:sad:My friend passed away on Saturday and i'm in the odd in-between place where I don't know what to do with myself so I've been cleaning everything!

HopeElizzy.. I am very sad to hear your friend has passed away. I know it is a blessing for her but I cannot imagine the pain you must all be feeling.. (((((((hugs))))))) to you and her family. I am a cleaner in times of stress/sadness/emotion as well.. my house was gleaming within 3 days of my gran dying, 2 weeks after DD5 was born and the week before christmas!!

:grouphug: to everyone (mind's gone blank as to what I was going to put exactly :o )

Washing done, (will do towels & cloths tomorrow), tea done, kitchen clean, livingroom hoovered including under the suit but not dusted. Finances updated, OH has washed up (:D) and bathed DD (:j) while I made beds again and put laundry away :D Blimey! I'm shattered. I'm going to go for a bath I think, as long as I can avoid the HUGE spider that ran across my foot in the bathroom last night - surprisingly I didn't scream, but that probably was more due to the fact that I was half asleep :rotfl:

Tomorrow is the nicest day according to the weather forecast so I might take DD on a trip rather than to town shopping. She's asked to go to a park that will give us a 6 mile round trip  So we'll have to see...

As for my official list, I'm not doing anything else tonight so it can just wait :p
    Manic Monday - Kitchen
    Level Two
    [STRIKE] Clean floors [/STRIKE]
    Extra Mission:
    Choose one or more of:
    • Clean inside of fridge - needs it desperately :o
    • Clean inside of microwave - need to do this, lunch splattered :o
    • Clean OVEN yes I know you all hate that one wonder how many choose it - will do this after tea when it's been on ;)
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1

[STRIKE] Vacuum floors and sofas [/STRIKE]
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
    [STRIKE] Vacuum under furniture[/STRIKE]
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clean windows in these rooms, or even just one
Right, off to check email, another forum and then I'm off for a bath, ooo...suppose I should really bring the end of the washing in first though- not going outside in my nightie and bare feet not with the number of slugs we see to have :rotfl::rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

It's all brrr and yuk here and I haven't started Flying today. I've made my phonecalls that I've been putting off though and cleared 2 hotspots.
Popped to Mr T's to spend a £2 voucher and my last £1 cash on catfood (sob, is it Friday yet?) Took Bob to the vets, yet again.. Sat and read all your posts and its now 8.20.

I think the livingroom and hall are going to be a rollover job. I just want to eat stodge on an evening like this. Mmm, chicken broth and dumplings; hope I've got suet in now..

I promise next time I post I'll have done some Flying.

    Have a good evening all.

  • Evening!
Didn't manage to start the ironing - got caught up in 'work' (who said it was the holidays!!) Anyway - did manage the flying when kiddies in bath and lounge looking clear and clean until the little people get up in the morning!
    Hugs to those who need.
Am now off to play on the holiday grand plan website to start thinking about Christmas! Week 1 this week - time to check the mailbox/porch swing and bug screens - don't you just love US websites! I can cross most of the jobs off from the comfort of my sofa - choccie bar in hand!

Pigpen - you amaze me with your energy - other than seafood, what's the secret!!!!!
