Hi all,

I've just come across mobiles2yourdoor.com and they have some of the most impressive deals I've found to date. They seem to be part of the same group Phones 4u is part of but I've not found much information on them here or elsewhere.

Does anyone have an experience of dealing with them? What is their customer service like? Are they reliable when paying out cash back?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

They've been around for a good 3-4 years now. ISTR that they weren't that competitive in the early days although I did have occasion to highlight one or two of their deals on my old site when it was just a manually edited blog.

Regarding their link to P4U...unlike some companies that espouse the credentials of their distributor in the hope that the distributor's reputation will rub off on them, in this instance M2YD's domain registration details clearly show that they are a P4U brand.

Spunky: Quidco are doing £45 cashback with M2YD at the moment. I've fallen for the Prada phone on Voda 40 with 12 months free. I'll post how it goes.

The cashback is paid out in 4 cheques of increasing amounts. If you miss one you lose the remaining claims. They do allow 60 days from the date of the phone bill though. There's little feedback on them but, as part of the 4U group, I don't think they're as likely to go under. One thing's for sure, I'm going to be very careful about making sure I follow their instructions closely.

Reestit: It's Jiffy from UK.T.M here! The CPW group won't let me have any more phones from them for another 2 months so I've had to branch out.

Thanks for the responses. I'm tempted to go for them purely because they have some really good 12 month free deals.

I'm currently on an 11th month free deal with mobileshop.com, which I've had a certain amount of difficulty in getting my cash backs paid up on time. But I do always get them in the end.

Jiffy please let me know how you get on if you do order with them.

    Thanks

I think they also run the schemes for Boots mobile etc. I nearly got a very good deal with them 3 years ago but the handset went out of stock and discontinued and they changed the deals reducing them a lot shortly thereafter.

PSD Reestit is the new website up yet - I want a deal on tmob flext35 wnw before they downgrade the packages next week...
    I think....

    Hi Jiffy,

    <grin>
From what I remember I'm surprised that they've not permanently barred you by now!

ISTR falling off my chair when you told me how many concurrent contracts you used to run (and that was in the days before zero cost was commonplace). You're not still running at that level, are you?

Spunky: I took the bait and have just received an email confirming receipt of the order.

Reestit: Lol, yeah it got a bit mad at one point! I still have a few though as I can't resist the bargains.

I have also just signed up for one of their 12 months free deals, first venture in to contract territory so hope all goes well.

Went for the Samsung U600 on Vodafone but doesn't look like my Quidco tracked...

I bought one yesterday and my quidco has also failed to track.
  • I ordered a phone this morning, and it tracked in Quidco, but at £35 instead of £45.

Has anyone had a phone sent out yet?

i am not surprised by the quidco logging.

    they were only added yesterday.

the site was relaunched on monday this week.

thats why there is almost nothing known about this site.

i was going to go for the u600 deal ( which is fantastic deal ) BUT WENT FOR THE W610I 11 month deal via phones for you as i did not like the increasing scale of cashback on the 12 month deal. the £440 rebate is 4 x £110 rather than increasing by £48 with each claim.

also got tracked on quidco within 2 hours

this is my 3rd current phones4u cashback deal. must admit i was tempted to do the u600 and flog the handset on ebay for which is about £120 ish
