I almost put the heating on tonight. Then thought no, don't be a wimp. So I put on a fleece dressing gown over the top of my three teeshirts, two sweatshirts, leggings and jog bottoms. And found an old pair of furry slippers to put on over my thick socks. Warm as toast now.

Oh me too! Ignore the weather - if the heating goes on before November I feel cheated!! Although my OH has done his back in so is sleeping on the sofa in the living room which is always a bit warmer - and it means he's lying under the duvet most of the time he's at home - and I'm wrapped up in a big dressing gown, sweat pants and thick socks.

Heating off. I live in a flat so it generally seems to be pretty warm. My kitchen and lounge is one big room though, so after I've been cooking I leave the oven door open after I switch it off and it generally heats up the room. Bedroom can be cold but once I'm under the covers it's nice and toasty!0

Quite warm here in sunny Bournemouth. No fleecy dressing gown on tonight! I'm feeling confident that we can keep the heating off until November. My secret fantasy is having 2 men....
