I have been putting it on for the odd hour or two during the evening but think it will go on properly soon as it was very chilly this morning.
For the last few years I have had it on 24/7 (on low) once autumn arrives but I am out for more hours during the day now so may try the timer.
No heating will be on in my bedroom until it gets much colder. Kids radiator is on low as is the bathroom.0 -
I set mine last night to come on this morning so it would be warm for when oh gets up.
When I got up I thought oooh it's nice and toastie in here. Went downstairs and realised I'd put it on constant and not timed - durrrr.
Good job it's only set a at 18.
I won't be making that mistake again.0 -

Gave it all a test run last night, bled the radiators and checked the water pressure. Other than that still off, don't think I can do what this fellow is doing though..... I admire it, but not sure about the logistics for me.

I have the heating timed to come on at 5.30 , then I normally turn it off about an hour later , but no heating on during the day as its been a steady 20 degrees in doors during the day ....Weather for this week in East Anglia is 16 degrees during the day , and nights about 10, so no need for heating on all the time at those temps...........0

Our heating is on timed. We are in Manchester and pretty cold here today.
We had a new boiler fitted, super efficient and it comes on for an hour morning and evening. The rest of the time turns itself off unless we drop below 18
So much easier than our old clinker. I'm hoping it's going to be much more efficient this year.:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
