I'm doing the heating Hokey Kokey this week. Nuts it is. I think we have had at least three of the four seasons.

Still off here in Northamptonshire. Been quite a mild day with some nice sunshine to make up for the dismal weather that was Wednesday!

Had my electric blanket on for a couple of hours Tuesday/Wednesday night, as woke up cold about 3am. Not last night though.

About to head to bed. Very tired after a busy week so far. And sickening for something. I have a rotten sore throat, which usually means a cold is coming!

  • T shirt weather here in sunny Bournemouth. Just as well as British Gas will be increasing their prices 3 times higher than inflation, so the other companies will follow suit soon. Still on a positive note according to the tv programme "trust me I'm a doctor" standing up for 3 or 4 hours a day is good for you. So keep warm and healthy and keep off your bum!

  • No heating on here yet either. I'm determined that it won't go on before Halloween - have been successful on that front the last 4 years now. It's almost a competition at this stage :D

I find that I don't need it on as much as I used to - we've not even started wearing woolies here yet, though we do have a light blanket over the foot of the bed in case it gets a bit chilly. Trying to get towels and heavy clothes like jeans dry is starting to become a bit problematic though. I find myself having a brief longing for a tumble dryer at least once a week lol

I agree, it's been quite warm here in Cornwall :)
Am spending the weekend with my sister and she told me that she has the heating set to come on at 6am-8am, and 7pm-9pm and she lives only 20miles from me! I might save her heating bill a bit and turn it off :D
