Still off here...but in thermals...and thick socks. Will be out after 5pm until perhaps 9pm+ so where I will be will keep me warm.

Jeremy Vine Radio 2 is discussing heating on his show today.

Heating has clicked on 2 mornings so far, Wiltshire is fairly warm but grey. Looking forward to llower bills didn't have a working boiler last winter until January and electric heaters were very very greedy!

  • still off here, with news of british gas hiking the prices it'll be staying that way too for as long as possible (at least my kids are all warm in school, not having anyone at home in the day means i can turn it off which i couldn't in previous yrs) The thermostat here is 19 degrees inside so still warm enough to not need it yet (thank goodness).

whats he got to do with the weather ?

No idea either but thanks for bumping him up! I would have missed it otherwise.

I wouldn't complain if he wanted to keep me warm through winter :D

House is nice and toasty as I had a coal fire last night and this house keeps the heat really well :)
  • Heating is still off, though we are making a Christmas Cake and Mincemeat so the kitchen and downstairs is really warm :)

An oddly warm evening here! I was still out at Tesco until 8pm, having been supervising a school disco!

I was more than warm enough in a t-shirt and mid-thickness fleece.

Grey but very warm day in Bournemouth today, so only wearing a summer nightie tonight! Rain forecast for the weekend so hopefully it will stay warm.
