  • same here, my thermostat is set at 22 and I just leave the heating on throughout the winter(SET ON TIMER) not be very MSE but my house isn't very big and we are well insulated.

We had hailstones today, so winter appears to be here (northwest)

I'm in the North east and have had mine on a couple of weeks. Set for18 from 7 to 8am. Then 20 from 5 till 20.00. I have an open plan living room and it doesn't get much sun. Bedroom radiator is off as not working properly but it's getting sorted tomorrow. Leaving bedroom door open as heat rises so it will get warm that way. Have hot water bottles and fleeces so trying not to use it too much.

I'm genuinely surprised that so many on here are using fleeces etc while sitting in the evening. It's still mild so what do people do when it really does get cold? I have heavy rugs but if I were to use them now I'd be fainting from the heat. :p:(

I'm in Scotland too and these are good temps for this time of year. Yes it is windy and wet but not freezing by any means.;)

A lovely "almost" warm day here in Northamptonshire. Surely one of the last we'll have this year?

Mine still hasn't been turned off yet. Like I've said before, I'm very well insulated in my little flat. I've been a little bit chilly the last night or two, but nothing a hot bath and a few candles won't fix. I'm determined to last until November!

Mild here in coastal Argyll until you get into wind then it is brutally cold.

No heating yet but lots of blankets and a lentil & chili soup for lunch :rotfl:

    Our heating is off.

We have got rid of our quilt and have layers of blankets, more or less depending on how warm or cool it is.
