Happy New Year everybody - hope it brings you everything you want, even if all you want is to lose weight! :~)
Well, we've just about got rid of all the Christmas naughtiness from the fridge and cupboards, and I'm officially starting the 2013 weightloss plan from tomorrow with a post-Christmas weigh-in first thing. I'm expecting a gain.
Fred - thank you for all the efforts you put into doing the chart every week and thinking up new challenges for us every month, you do a wonderful job. :T

Hello! Can I join please? My weigh in was 30/12/12 and it was 11st 11 and a quarter! OMGGGG! I need to lose 35 lbs. To do this I have given up alcohol (actually needed to but it all helps!) and have bought my friends xtrainer and exercise bike off her. Hopefully get these today/tomorrow. Also trying to eat 3 healthy meals a day.
I'd like to join the 5lbs this month and hopefully make it! Also the 31.07 miles, as can try and do that on my bike!

Hi all. Long-time lurker and first time poster on this thread.
New Years Resolution time. I weighed myself today and I'm starting at 10st 4. I've not actually put any weight on over xmas (magically) but my belly is protruding more than it was, time for sit-ups methinks!
I would like to be back to 9st 4 so one stone to lose and going to re-start my 30 day shred DVD tomorrow after work (back to reality tomorrow)!
Can I join the lots of resolutions team and the 5lb challenge please?0 -
Hiya
Jak and Nikki - welcome to the thread.
Fred - can you put me down for the multiple resolutions team, and both challenges please.
Beanie - I might beat you in the Christmas gain stakes, maybe we should have a once a year virtual prize for the person that gains the most! lol
Talking of resolutions, the postman delivered the latest 'bargain' I'd bought on ebay yesterday, and it's joining the small but getting bigger each week pile of 'tat that should never have been on ebay in the first place'...!!! The resolution? No more bargains on ebay!
Back tomorrow.

Hi Aylithuk - you're very welcome to join us on the thread, good luck with reaching your target.
Vix - that sounds nasty, I didn't realise you could get side effects like that. Not as bad as the side effects of not using contraception though - much longer lasting, the first 25 years are the worst, and then you just hope they've left home for good... :rotfl:
