  • It would seem that I'm not the only person to have problems with vodafones India based NUC Resolutions team.
    I have been trying for over 4 weeks to get the code to unlock my iphone4 from Vodafone. The first couple came back incorrect imei number so I checked number using *#06# & surprise surprise it was correct number. I double checked with Vodafone and apparently they had a different number which was adjusted so I resubmitted the form- again I get told wrong number. Since then (5/11/12) I have spoken to Vodafone again and someone changed imei number (app call before the Vodafone op put a wrong digit in) and then he resubmitted form for me again. I got a text to say
    "NUC Resolutions Consumer Request Form
    Your request has been submitted. Reference Number: 652142
    Your NUC Code Request reference
    Thank you for your call
    VODAFONE"

    I've yet to hear anything back 8 days later and spoke to Vodafone this mng and been told there is no way to chase up what is happening.
    For a company that boasts of being best network they have some serious failings at times!!!!

    Can someone please help

    Was the phone purchased directly from Vodafone or via a third party? Are you the original owner of it?

  • Feel like I'm taking crazy pills corresponding with Vodafone customer care by e-mail...

    Purchased an iPhone 3GS as a present, locked to Vodafone UK. Website states they require a new SIM, £20 if the phone is less than 12 months, and they will supply a NUC.

    Arranged for a new connection, received a new SIM, topped up account to £20. I am now being advised that the number Vodafone supplied has been recycled (despite sending the original receipt which clearly stated a new connection), and they cannot supply a NUC.

    This has been going on for over 3 weeks now. I've sent my last correspondence "Attn complaints dept" (even though I've requested it be escalated twice already now), anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

    Thanks for coming back so promptly. All correspondence should have [#10532778] in the subject. I don't want to muddy the waters re-sending information again, however so far I have sent:

    1. Screenshots of confirmation of phone number, IMEI and current balance from my Vodafone account.
    2. A scanned copy of the receipt for the SIM confirming a new connection.

    Let me know if you require these to be resent.

    Thanks for your e-mail last night, yes, synched phone with iTunes, phone now unlocked.

    Many thanks for your assistance with this, I'm absolutely convinced that without your intervention, I could not have got this sorted through the standard Vodafone support centre. Last correspondence I received was in response to my "Attn Complaints Dept" email. Unsurprisingly, they were requesting I send confirmation of purchase etc. which had already been sent twice previously.
