As a reminder !!! clue to the Linlithgow connection, the phone number listed above is for PPF Shipping of Linlithgow. An earlier scam from there seen here on MSE is here:
    forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=25996645&postcount=63
The directors of this business (Linpharma Ltd etc)are listed here because Linpharma Ltd is now PHYTOSCIENCE LTD. of Herkimer House Mill Road Industrial Estate, Linlithgow Bridge, Linlithgow, West Lothian EH49 7SF:

Indeed. If PPF Shipping are an innocent party to this scam then perhaps if enough people contacted them and complained they would drop Perfect Radiance/Revitaderm as a client. Contact details are here:

Thank you so much to this site that I've finally contacted this truly awful company who can scam people like this  It was only by chance that I checked my online banking and saw £74.95 had been taking out of my account and another £79.99 was pending.....Thanks to this forum and the correct phone number I managed to get through and the lady said I wouldn't be charged the £79.99 but this has yet to be seen...It was so misleading as the price was never once mentioned in the advert, the only time it was mentioned was in their terms and conditions which I only read yesterday...

Does anyone know if I will be able to get a refund of the £74.99 as I'd never have paid so much for a product that doesn't even work, I have been so upset and had to borrow money as this money coming out sent me overdrawn at my bank....I would be very grateful for any help and advice....Thanks....
  • when i phoned up to cancel one,
the woman i was speaking to cancelled both and said she was refunding me for both !! they are in bussiness together or are the same scam company :o/
  • result !!! yipee i have been refunded for both the creams :T ....there is light at the end of the tunnell:j
  • Well, I didn't even order off the website. I filled in the first page, then on page 2 when I saw you had to sign up to a monthly deal, I closed it. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I got a phone call from a woman called Kristin Smith with an English accent, very pleasant, who proceeded to talk me into signing up. I said I only wanted the trial, I didn't want to sign up for monthly deliveries and she said I just had to cancel within 30 days. That sounded okay, so I thought, why not, I can always cancel. That was the 26th December. I received the Perfect Radiance on the 30th December but the Revitaderm didn't arrive till 7th January. I even emailed them to ask when it was coming and they emailed back to say it had been despatched on the 5th Jan and they would give me another 14 days' trial.

There were no instructions on how to use the two products together so I started Googling to find out and then came across this site. After reading the posts I thought how dumb I had been to sign up. I then found their website and the T&C and read about the 12 days' trial. I'd gone past the 12 days so I phoned my bank, Halifax, and, sure enough there was a pending £74.95. So, I'd been lied to by the woman on the phone.

I phoned the 0808 number and it took ages for me to get through. I got a woman with a strange American accent, "Mel", who took my details and then kept telling me "so sorry, there's nothing I can do". I told her I'd been told 30 days and that I hadn't signed up online. More "so sorry", etc. I wasn't giving up and asked for the manager. She kept saying I had to deal with her, and I kept saying I wanted someone in authority. She started fobbing me off with discounts and I just said "No, I want my money back". Eventually she went away to talk to her "manager" and then said I could have a refund. She gave me three cancellation codes and a refund code as well. She said an email would come out within 24 hours.

I phoned the Halifax and they said there's nothing they can do as I had given them my card details and entered a contract. Why is there nothing they can do? That's what I don't understand. As for a contract, I didn't sign anything, and I was told 30 days, not 12, so surely it's not even binding. Anyway, all they could offer was to cancel my card, but then said that's no guarantee they can't take money out. If they did I would need to take it up with Disputes, still no guarantee I could get money back. Are all banks as useless as this? So I cancelled the card and just have to hope nothing else goes out.

I have not yet received a confirmation email but have sent emails to them confirming the phone conversation and cancellations. I just have to hope my money gets refunded as promised. Let that be a lesson to me - it was too good to be true.:o
  • I can't believe myself like the previous post this all happened by telephone in the same call I changed my mind and cancelled a so called Manager told me i would receive
a refund within 48 hours which would have been 31st Dec - no refund and I thought because of Christmas etc ,I let it go then the product turned up on Saturday - sick to the
stomache cos my husband will go absolutely mad!!! I've been to the bank and cancelled my card and they have refunded me the £2.95 the guy at the bank told me that I shouldn't worry
because I've reported it to them and to be vigilant on my account - don't think I can live with the worry! I guess I have to get on the phone tomorrow and shout - I have emailed them
but had two replies stating they are busy!! How could I have been so stupid!!
  • Another place to complain about the scam (as they may investigate)

I have felt ill for the past week since finding out £206 has been taken from my account by these people. I cannot believe they can get away with this and if we all stick together I am sure we can do something to stop this scam happening to anybody else and maybe one day get the business closed down! I cannot get through on the telephone but I continue to email daily. They have agreed to cancel further orders but say I cannot have my money back for the trial creams. I will not stop until they give me a refund. I have emailed Dominic Littlewoods site and suggest:( everybody does the same. Also it would be good if we could get Martin Lewis on board as he regularly appears on TV?
