Just had a look at Sensee. It sounds ideal. Thanks for the link!

    Are you working for them?

If so, do they require a credit check? (I'm hoping not, as my credit history isn't the best).

Do they prefer us to use a Mac or a PC? (Got a webcam built into my Mac but not into my PC!)

Any further info would be most appreciated, as I'm very keen to get back into work.

    Thanks again,

    Sim :)

You're welcome - and no, not working for them yet. I've had a conditional offer though.

Nor mine. If you get as far as the cam interview - be prepared for that question. I wasn't and crumbled in a heap of rubbish honesty. Said honesty meant I didn't get the job that time around - but I believe said honesty kept me on their books until the next time they needed people (and trust me - when they say "we'll keep you on our books" - it's very much the truth!).

I honestly don't know. The only requirement I recall them asking for directly is skype and a wired connection. It meant I had to move my modem and shift stuff about a bit, but it was thankfully no biggy. I use Win 7 and I had to buy a cheap cam from Argos for the secondary interview - if that helps.
Any further info would be most appreciated, as I'm very keen to get back into work.

Besta luck to you, Sim. By all means PM me if you get to the interview stage. Take care.

    CJ.
  • Just had a follow up interview offer from Teletech. Gonna pass after all the waiting around.
  • Yeh, I've just received an e-mail too. Have scheduled an appointment, just to keep my options open - even though I'm hoping to start a training course with sensee on 20th June.

Got the initial email, then the email saying they were inundated with apps and they would get back in a few weeks, but that was 3 weeks ago and nothing else since:(

You mention training starting 20th June and wondered when your interview had taken place for this? Just trying to figure out time scales here...

I had both stages of my interview (phone and then cam) in April and I've been on their waiting list since then (fingers crossed I start training on the 20th too) so don't panic about the 3 week thing. That said I would keep in touch with them once a fortnight to ask if anything's come up. In terms of them getting back in touch with you when positions do next become available the email does make it sound like you have to go through that process again. I didn't. It was just an informal chat about the hours I could do, the role, training etc. Next up is the remote desktop IT check - afaik that's the final stage before the paperwork and an offer.
