A milkshake is good, but a smoothie is better.
Stick them in a blender with a big tub of cheap plain yoghurt and a big spoonful of honey. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

8oz Self Raising Flour
1/2 teasp Bicarbonate of soda
4oz Margarine
6oz Sugar
2 well beaten eggs
2 mashed bananas (you can use up to 4 if you like)
Add a little water to make sure the mixture isn't too stiff.
Use standard creaming method.
Oven 170o / 3or 4 gas (depending on your oven) for approx 1 hour
A loaf shaped cake tin.
I double up the recipe (which takes longer to cook) and use 2 tins, then freeze one.
If you aren't ready to make one, then mash up the bananas with a good squeeze of lemon juice and freeze in a margarine tub/poly tub, for when you do want to make one.
I've baked this today & it is delicious.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -

Sometimes I make a kind of smoothie with banana, milk and a handful of oats. If you freeze the banana (peeled) first it's even nicerweaving through the chaos...0
