i make a fruit loaf and use old bananas instead of sugar. the kids love it especially with a bit of marg for breakfast. they call it malt loaf.
heres the receipe if you do want to use it
1 mug oats or musli or weetabix
1 mug raisens or other dried fruit or 1/2 raisens and 1/2 mincemeat left over from xmas (that i bought half price last week!!! :P)
1 mug milk
1 mug mashed bananas with a little bit of sugar
cinnamon
mix together and leave for an hour
1 mug s/r flour
mix then put in oven on 180 for an hour (ish). i use a loaf tin and sprinkle the top with brown sugar and takes 1 hr 10 mins. i also sometimes put in choc chips.

I just freeze them then eat them frozen - taste a bit like banana ice cream. Like ice cream take them out a few minutes before eating. I'm sure I got the idea on here ages ago.0

how about banana lolly pops for the little fella, my kids used to love them, just bannans dipped in chocolate then rolled in sprinkles then bunged in the freezer for a hour.0

There's a lovely recipe in Nigella Kitchen for banana, coconut and cherry bread. When I made it I didn't have any cherries so I used dried cranberries and it was gorgeous. I'll post the recipe if you like0
