Banana bread is very nice. The recipe should be in the index.

How would you do deep fried bananas?
I don't have a deep fryer anymore, could I do them in a frying pan?
Is there some sort of coating?

I would shallow fry them in a little butter with honey, orange juice, cinnamon and, if you like them, toasted almonds. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

You can also keep them in their skins and slice through longways without going right through the other side of the skin. Put pieces of chocolate in the split. Wrap with foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees C

I peeled one, put it in a placcy bag & froze it for a couple of hours for our pup! He had great fun licking it & chasing it around his bowl! Made me laugh!

Think I recall putting a lolly in one end before freezing, then quickly dipping it in melted chocolate & 100s & 1000s when the kids were little.......sounds good.....scooze me I'm off to freeze me nanas!

I must admit that I prefer to eat bananas when they are well mottled. That's when they are ripe and sweet.

Alternatively, you can put them in a blender - two medium bananas with a small pot of single cream, whizz for a bit, then add a nice dose of brandy. Let chill in the fridge and serve as a scrumptious dessert.

For every idea thats been suggested (& they sound great) I am missing at least 1 ingrediant. I shall have to pick up something on the way home from work tomorrow.
