Dear All & very rep,
firstly I ordered like 10 items from Very on a Buy now pay later. I was not happy that the product was not honered. I also received 5 emails from them saying that I would receive £50, this was stated on each email. It does not state per account.
I am concerned that as soon as these gift cards go out, Very will just hike up their prices to ensure they do not loose money. I would suggest everyone keeping a note of what they wish to purchase at the moment and even doing a screen print or print out. If the prices goes up when you come to purchase the item I would just all complain. I have been a client of Very and littlewoods for a long time. I am pleased they are trying to resolve this matter but why not just send one email to each account, as I was happy to have been receiving 6 x £50 credit. but now I am thinking £50 isn't really alot especially at Very.
What are everyone elses thoughts on this.
might as well receive the balloon flight?0 -

I think that's a ridiculous conspiracy theory.
You are suggesting they will hike ALL prices for ALL customers for 2 years and risk losing loads of business just for a few vouchers.
These gift cards last for 2 years.
If you want to monitor prices and screenshots then go ahead and give yourself an ulcer.
Some people seem determined to make a huge meal out of this.
On the other hand those of us who are "glass half full" people are absolutely deighted to have £50 for virtually nothing.0 -

Are you serious? several companies have glitches I have ordered from debenmans and M&S when they have had a glitchs and they just cancel the order with no explaination.
For very to be offering customers £50 of effectivly free money; for ordering something we all new was a glitch and probably wouldnt be honoured; is exceptionally good customer service.
why are you complaining? who made you order 10 items?0 -
Well put Bargain_bunny.
Remeber everyone, they don't have to do anything at all and most other companies don't.0 -
I have to say I am very impressed with the customer service at the Littlewoods group, I had a major issue with an order in August and ended up getting a £500 item for £125.
I placed 2 x seperate orders on this glitch and am more than happy to get a £50 credit as I was expecting to get nothing, where as other glitches there have just been refunds.
I have had 2 problem orders and both have been resolved with a more than satisfactory conclusion.
Well done Littlewoods Group.
Be happy:):)

Hi,
Another quick update:
· To anybody receiving the £50 to their credit account or by cheque, this will be actioned by the end of today. Many of you will have already been contacted.
· To our customers who will be receiving the gift cards for either Additions or Very, we are posting these all out today so should be delivered in the next few days.
Also, in regards to the emails we sent out informing everyone of this offer, these were done on an ‘order’ basis so those of you who ordered more than 1 experience day will possibly receive more than 1 email.
However, I must reiterate, this £50 credit is only one per account, not per order.
Also, we will not and cannot increase item prices due to this error. Apart from this being extremely bad practise and something we as a company would never even think of doing, we have already printed and as of Saturday, started sending out our new Spring/Summer 2011 books for all brands.
Therefore prices cannot be altered online either. The only time you will see price differences is when we offer sale items at reduced prices, we will never increase our prices to cover other mistakes.
As mentioned in my previous posts, if anybody has any other questions which I may not have answered in previous posts regarding their own individual accounts/orders/refunds, feel free to email us at socialmedia@shopdirect.com.
Hope this helps
Chris

Hi,

This is not the case. Everyone will recieve the £50 credit regardless of whether or not you take up the Virgin Experience day 25% off offer.
@mickeyde1979
The majority of customers affected have already been contacted, however, we still have a few people to notify. You should receive a phone call or email later on today.
