Evening folks. Not been around much as been really busy with work.

Last week saw me have a 1.5 lb gain, but as it was * week, I wasn't too concerned. Since then things have been a bit hit and miss. I'm back on track now and over the last couple of days have cooked loads of meals to put in the freezer. I've now got no excuse when I get home at night for not having a proper meal.

Well done to all on the losses and good luck for this week. Take care, K x

Yay, I'll be looking out for you all now:D

Well I have just had my first weigh-in today, and I have lost - 4 1/4lbs VERY pleased with that:j

I am going to meal plan today, although it will just be 7meals/lunches, I won't assign them to days as I like to just go with what I feel like eating on the day:)

Morning, only lost 1lb this week which is fine after the massive blip mid week:o

I have joined minimins, havent posted yet though. I'm gunsandbanjos over there too.

Think i'm going to stick with the same breakfast daily as its easy and i like it, probably the same lunch too!

    Today will be :

2 Dry weetabix with FF strawberry Onken
    Beans on toast
HM cottage pie, will just have mostly meat and veg and a little mash.

Have taken some fruit out the fridge so it can warm up - i hate cold fruit! Will snack on that through the day.

Syns will be a little mash and maybe a KitKat with a cuppa later.

I have the Free Foods book and there is a lovely brekkie idea in there, it's called BANANA SPLIT - one banana cut lengthways, sprinkled with 40g of All Bran and then covered in FF natural yoghurt, flavoured with cinnamon....I MUST give it a try I always have banana's, Natural yog, and cinnamon in, so just need to buy a small box of All Bran (which I do like with a chopped up banana in, so won't go to waste:))

Well done on the 1lb loss G&B, and it is not 'only' 1lb....that is the ideal weekly weightloss:D

I got the new mag in class on thurs - so should hit the shops anytime around now.

Twas me on about the sausages which were very nice .....although it says to use both pork mince & turkey mince (and OH is going through his really annoying fussy stage again ) so I ended up making some seperate ones just for him with plain pork, a tiny sprinkle of sage & some parsley......and they were flipping lush :D I'l def be doing them again!!!!!

BTW its me that has the target friend who eats 'normal' but not stooopid at the weekend (she doesnt go out on the lash or live in Macdonalds......but then she is in her 70's lol:rotfl:) and sticks to the plan rigid through the week. shes coming up to 3 years at target towards the end of the year too.....so it obviously works for her rather than increasing Bs & As & syns accross the board.

Ah ha......you want a soup to up your ration of superfree veg??? Have a go at this one. Trust me when I tell you it makes A LOT - get out your biggest pan, then look for another even bigger, lol. This recipe uses speed foods ie those with lots of bulk and very few calories. It is very good for those with, shall we say, problems in the bowel department :D

    Here you go

The now re- named famous Dyno Rod soup :D

Speed food Soup (syn free on Green and EE)

    1 can mixed bean salad
1 can green lentils (or handful of dried)
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    1 can baked beans
    Handful of split lentils
    2 large leeks
    1 large onion
    4 medium carrots
    2 parsnips
1 each green, red and yellow peppers
    2 vegetable stock cubes
    Salt pepper
    Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)
Chop all vegetables. Put them and everything else into a large pan, cover with water, bring to boil and simmer until vegetables are soft (about 30 mins). Once cooked, the soup can be left chunky or blended smooth.
