    I'm ready Suggs!!

I promise not to be a naughty girl again!!

Anyway as I said I have been really good today.

Sultana bran with Semi skimmed milk for breakfast (85 cals)
small tin of tesco HL tomato soup with 1 small slice of bread for lunch (205 cals)
RC low fat spaghetti carbonara (400 cals) (home cooked by moi & absolutely delicious will post recipe in the thread in a bit!!)
3 coffees with 2 sugars in each & semi skimmed milk
    2 glasses of diet coke
& I'm now half way through a litre bottle of peach sparkling water (2 cals per 100ml) don't like plain water.

as there is nothing decent on the tele and both my DD & DH are in bed i might tackle the liberty x dvd in a bit too!!

Then I've got a huge pile of ironing to do attempt to do a menu plan for the rest of the week, get my DD stuff ready to go to mum's tomorrow (lots of clean pairs of knickers as she's still having a couple of accidents a day but we're getting there!!) & tidy up the lounge & kitchen might still be up at about 3am when my DH gets up to go to work!! Better go and get started before I end up on here all night again!!
Life is like a box of chocs ..... i've got a soft centre but I ate the whole box.

  • Hi everyone,

Here's the chart for this week.

Well done to Rachelja and Raphael who are joint slimmers of the week. Yes, I know that Rachel lost more weight than Raphael, but that was over 2 weeks. Raphael's is the best loss in a single week - and only 0.4lbs away from this month's challenge already - well done:j

Well done to this weeks losers and maintainers, comiserations to anyone who's gained.

If I've any mistakes, please let me know and I'll get them fixed for next weeks' chart.

    Edel
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.
  • Well hows that for a good start!

I managed to miss my meeting this week, my tutor managed to dump a whole new load of ideas on me 24 hours before deadline, so ended up staying at uni and completely forgetting! so will be taking a trip to boots tomorrow morning, just so that i know what i've managed to do this week...

Been to Jazzercise 3 times since the weigh in last week tho, feeling damn good about that! :)

Thanks raphael, MrsSuggs now really annoyed as she is not going to see him for the third time this year!! all remaining concerts have been cancelled. Fingers crossed for a full recovery and maybe he will be back next year? I recall reading in a magzine about bangers and mash and the mash was made with califlower?? Healthy I guess, but what would it taste like? Surely spuds, boiled and mashed with little milk and no butter is not that bad???

My brother works in ticketmaster so he's 'in the know'. He said Meat has cancelled all his remaining 2007 tour. I really hope he'll be back as this is his last tour, then he's retiring.

Not too sure about cauliflower mash, surely it would make it lumpy! I never add milk, as I find it takes away the potato taste, and the mash just tastes bland. I do put a small(ish) dollop of marg in.

Is gravy good or bad? I love a nice flood of gravy, drowning all my food. I make it with granules, is that better?

x_raphael_xx, I just discovered Tesco's own brand porridge which comes in a bag instead of a box and is much cheaper. I don't eat it but my son prefers it to the more well known brand I used to buy :D

I bought a big bag of Asda's own porrige oats, the only downside is that it sticks like superglue to the pan afterwards! I thought maybe a handful of raisins could sweeten it up for a healthy alternative.

I am hungry but have no idea what to cook for dinner.
I have a chicken breast, half a tin of chopped toms, half a tin of peas, eggs, pasta, tin of tuna, some spagetti and some cheese.

    Inspire me please!

Having been to the doctors today for something quite routine, i learnt that my BMI is 45  !!! and i am classed as very Obese! (how i hate that word!) _pale_

Welcome Donna I know what it's like with BMI When I started 14 weeks ago my BMI was 46.2:eek:  it's heading downwards and is now 40:T still high but on the way to where it should be.

Congrats to all this weeks losers and for those that maintained big hugs.

KPC - great news about the boiler shame it's had to affect your weekend.

    Welcome also to Cheery Daff

    Congrats Raph and Rach

Donna - is there any way you can pop in just for a weigh-in? or perhaps find a Boots or local chemist with a set of scales for an indicator. (are you starting a different class or sticking with SW?

I can report a 3lb loss this week :j (was a bit annoyed as my scales showed 7 - which I didn't believe and mums showed 5!) but hey ho I'm stil a loser:D
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j
