Whats best for a night out?
My typical (but rare) Friday night is Double vodka and coke followed by chips and cheese. Obviously am cutting the chips+cheese out! but whats the best to drink when on a diet.
Many thanksI have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something0 -
Well done suggs getting rid of the clothes is an excellent idea, you are never going to need them again so out they go:j that is not you anymore, you are much slimmer now, boot them out of the door:rotfl: :rotfl:
froggyI am not a drinker but lots of people have told me that white wine topped up with fizzy or still water makes the drink go further and cuts the calories down, if it has to be vodka then make sure the coke is diet....
jab17 well done, excellent, yes, just post here and you will be added to the chart, this week kindly by Honey28
wobbler You are very welcome, keep coming on here and posting and we will help you all we can, we are a friendly bunch just trying to loose the lard!!!
giddykipper the average to loose in a week is 2lb so 6 weeks will give you 12 lb, the first week you loose more (water retention) so I guess around that mark with SW and the excercise can't see why not..0 -
I feel like poo today,I have no energy, feel hot, dizzy, headache and just plan and simply cant be arsed to to anything.
I didn`t get out of bed till after 11am and I`m just about to head back there again.

Welcome wobblerOh! what a great user name, I love it!!
I hope you find us helpful and that you keep wth us.
I thought that I'd just let you have my take on BMI because this week I came within the 'normal' range, only just - 24.9 - but this is way too high for me as I'm still a 'porky bird'. I think it gives a lot of leeway to accommodate the varying body types, but it really boils down to what you feel best at, and should only be used as a guide. Muscular types can get away with being in a higher BMI range as Suggs pointed out re the England Rugby team and katmad. I worked with someone who was a lot heavier than me, but her firm build made her look so much slimmer.
katmad I'm trying to find the actual instructions about that excercise (I tried writing it and it sounded a bit porno:D ) but I'll swap it for your rock-hard thighs; although I must point out that my padding was fat, not muscle, and I tend to think that the continued rolling on it broke down the walls of the fat cells and it just seemed to dissipate. Not very scientific I know, but it's how I thought of it at the time. With all the lovely excercise that you do I doubt whether this will be of any benefit to you, but I'll still post it when I find it.
hazzie :grouphug: hope you feel better soon
Suggs What good news re the ditching of clothes that are now too large. I seem to remember someone suggesting this some time ago, her name escapes me for the moment, now let meAh! Yes....

Ok folks, go easy on me. Its not as easy as would seem and its taken me ages to do this!! Bring back Lois :rotfl:
We have 2 slimmers of the week this week - Npsmama who lost 6.8lbs and Xljmummy who lost 7lbs :T It seemed unfair to only let one be SOTW so in Lois' absence I made an executive decision to have 2
Now, the March challenge bit -well that all proved a bit complicated (Sorry Lois) but since I hadnt been doing the chart all month I don't really know who has met it or not. In the circumstances I havent updated it on the chart inase I got it wrong but from what I can make out the following people met their March challenge - Beanielou, Petrichor, Retiredlady, Suggs, Victory& Jojilufc . A very big well done to all of you and if I have missed anyone please let me know and sorry!
I'm going out for a while later so am posting the chart now - if there are any mistakes  please let me know and I will try and fix them - I've read, re-read and re-re-read the thread since last Wednesday's chart in the hope that I have got everyone - there were some losses posted from people who weren't on the previous chart so if you want added please let me know0 -
Sorry a bit late posting - I've lost 1lb. Didn't manage to meet the last challenge by 1lb, gonna do better this time0
